Owners and management rude and not accommodating Very disappointed. The hotel was fine but the owners and management were not accommodating. Our baseball team spent a lot of money to stay there for 10 days and they banned us from common areas making us either stay in our rooms or outside. They signed up to be a host hotel for the World Series so you would think they would’ve been glad to have us there. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and never been treated this way. Do not recommend if you have a group of people.

No Service after 5:00 My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and always had an acceptable stay. However, we checked in on July 17th, and after sitting on the bed, we discovered the sheets, pillowcases and pillows were damp. I called the front desk and the desk clerk informed me that he was the only one there, and that I could come down to the desk and he would give my some dry linens for us to change the bed ourselves. He said he was not allowed to leave the desk and no one else was working at all. I said that was unacceptable, and he said that's all he could do. I called IHG, and they offered to have our points refunded for the stay if we wanted to leave. After getting a room at another chain, we went down to the front desk to check out. The clerk, Sean, refused to give us the manager's name, only Chris, and that did upset me, and I wrote an ugly word on my notes that Sean saw. After calling IHG today with the case number I'd been given the night before to find out why no one had contacted us, I was told that we have been banned from that hotel. They claimed the sheets were dry. Since there was no one else working last night, and Sean was not allowed to leave the front desk, I'm sure the linens were dry this morning when someone went in to check the room. We were refunded our points, and also given some extra. We still like IHG, but we will not recommend that hotel to anyone else. The Comfort Suites is much nicer, and their sheets are dry.

Not bad at all! It was an overall good stay for a night...the hotel is undergoing some renovations (new sofas and sofa beds in rooms, etc) so our room was missing a sofa bed (room rate was reduced accordingly so we were fine with that). Overall, however, very clean hotel with attentive staff. Could use some more sitting areas outside the hotel if possible (and if space allows). Location is good (lots of restaurants and other stores nearby).

A Good Holiday Inn. We visited this hotel for Labor Day weekend for a quick overnight trip. We had originally planned for two queen rooms and the hotel contacted us as those rooms were under construction, so we were able to get one double queen room and two single king rooms for 4 adults, which worked out great, for the price of the two queens. They were very accommodating for that. When we visited, UChatt and UNA were playing, so the hotel was pretty busy. We were on the ground floor and it was very nice. There was no noise really, even from upstairs, and even during the morning breakfast rush there wasn’t excess noise in our room. There was a little noise from children being children at the pool when they were leaving the pool. The beds were very comfortable and I love that Holiday Inn provides Dove toiletries. Everything was up to what we expected. I love the little Keurig in the rooms. I would only say that the TV’s are always set to a weird color filter but you can change that just fine on the settings. I’m sure everything will be a little smoother once the construction is done, but we really didn’t have any hiccups after the room rearrangement that worked out in our favor. I would say have mercy and remember that this hotel is under construction.

CONSTRUCTION NOISE - Stay Away I should have heeded the construction warning. Noise from construction right outside the room made sleeping impossible. We had to leave the room. Elevator was shut off for construction, and dust was unbearable. Front desk and General Manager not willing to make amends. Learn from my mistake, heed the construction warning and stay away until construction is complete at least until the end of this year.
