Hilarityand fun without the children It was wonderful like Disney land and she was a princesses . So I took her on magical carpet ride to the ice machine. The cops and staff were not pleased with our behavior. But were so kind and walked us back. Luckily they gave us a late check out though jane had to promise to "shut up and go to bed mam" lol

A very basic hotel in a very rural setting The hotel was clean and my room was spacious and neat which is the least you would expect at $200 a night. The inclusive breakfast was not good at all. The bed mattress was slightly sunk in. The room was outdated and is in real need of an upgrade. The staff were friendly and efficient. I think this hotel is probably the best of all in town which doesn’t say much.

A bit of an older property, but my stay was very nice! I was on a road trip by myself for several days in April 2024 and had the opportunity to spend one night (a Wednesday night) at this Hampton in Gallipolis. Overall, I had a very nice stay. My room (#305) was clean and comfortable, I absolutely loved the hot tub in the indoor pool area, and breakfast in the morning was quite good. Plus, I slept well which is important. This hotel is a bit older but it's still kept up pretty well. Unfortunately, the computer system at the front desk wasn't working properly when I checked in, so that process was a bit slower than usual. The woman who checked me in that afternoon, though, was very friendly and helpful. Something else about this hotel that's causing it to show its age is that the badge system to enter the pool area wasn't working properly (my key didn't work, and so I had to ask the gentleman at the front desk to help me get in). He had to unscrew it, empty the batteries, and put it together. I was glad he was able to do that, though, because the hot tub was VERY nice and hot. So relaxing. So yeah... overall, I had a good stay. The property was older, but it served its purpose well for my needs!

Wonderful hotel Beautifully kept and friendly staff. They go above and beyond for their customers. And the hot breakfast offered every morning is phenomenal! Definitely worth your stay! Clean and fresh throughout the whole hotel with many amenities offered.

Used to be one of the best, but they are on a slide… I scored this at 4 stars because if you rate them across all hotels that would be fair. As a Hampton they are probably a 3. I’ve stayed at this hotel 20-30 times over the last 12 years and they are on a steady downward spiral. It used to be one of the best. I’ll be very honest and fair in this review and I’ve been Hilton Diamond for 10 of those 12 years. The hotel is always clean and the beds and showers are ok. These are the most important things. The pillow's are not great. This is an area I see a lot of hotels skimping on these days. The pillows are cheap quality and are smaller. Not the little squares. But not much bigger. I got my Diamond gift at the desk and asked for a water. I got a little bit of a hard time about that which I thought was odd. But he gave it to me. Breakfast was terrible. Poor selection and very skimpy. It just seems the effort is not there. I stayed at the Hampton in Athens 2 weeks earlier and the experience was very different. I think it’s mostly Additude that needs to change here.
