Do not stay The light switch did not work, one of the beds did not have a comforter on it. The ocean view was through a chain link fence from a torn down building. The queen size bed were actually full size. The exterior is ran down. They also charge 15.00 per night for parking which you don’t find out til you get there and do not do the pre check in because then they will charge your card twice one through precheck in “which will fall off after you check out” and the actual charge and then you have to wait to get your money back.

Not a pleasant stay. The rooms are not clean. The baseboard are falling down. The hardware on the sink and lamps are old and corroded. There is no WI-FI in the room. No room service you must take your towels to the front desk for an exchange. We arrived at 3:50 but were turned away and told to come back at 4:00 check in time. Parking is $15 per night. There is no coffee in the room. The coffee in the breakfast room was barely drinkable. I feel this place should be completely renovated before renting out rooms. People that stay here on Saturday or Sunday night are just going to the cruise ship port the next day.

Bugs Roaches.....enough said....pillows were flat, internet sketchy.....hot water took forever. We asked for first floor due to knee problems for me and severe back issues for my BFF, we were on 3rd floor, which I know can be issues with internet and hot water. They were NOT full but refused to move us. Again.....major problem was the roaches!

Check your room before you rent here. Many of the rooms have not been renovated after the last hurricane which was 5 months earlier than our stay. The rooms should NOT be rented in the current condition. The floor was saturated in dirt probably from water damages. See photos. I wrote Wyndham but never got a reply so I am giving this review.

A Very Bad Experience We were going to be in Galveston one night and the rate wasn't bad so I booked here. We checked in at 4 PM and the lady at the desk was very nice. Went to the room and it was a disaster. Baseboards were either missing or taped on the wall. The lamps were rusty and the whole room looked like it had been damaged by a hurricane. We dropped our bags and went to eat and shop and I figured we were only sleeping there so we could tolerate it. We came back about 9 PM and started getting ready for bed. My daughter discovered roaches running everywhere in the bathroom. I said take a shoe and swat them. She killed 14! After that we had enough and started calling other hotels. We checked out about 9:30 P.M. and I asked for a refund. The desk lady apologized but couldnt give me one and said call back and speak to a manager. I did so the next morning and he would not give a refund. He did offer a refund of the $15 parking fee! Needless to say I will never walk in the door of this dump again.
