Poor Half of the air conditioning didn’t work , had a friend that fell from a step with no handrails and the staff would not even help with a ride to the hospital since we came by boat and had no other vehicle . They need a lot of safety precautions done . By the way the person that fell was over eighty and poor access for the ambulance.

Needs updating Air conditioning not cooling room. Bathroom very small. No microwave or frig. Room needed update. Clean but old carpet; drapes; bedding. Good location but price is not in comparison to the room. Nice walk around building but treacherous to walk down to water for fishing.

Good family place Fun, easy family activities. Not nearly enough activities offered by the park, all staff I met were surly, which wasn’t fun. But, cottages are all- maintained and clean, though the cookware and kitchen linens were majorly lacking. We had a great time with the kids walking around the lake, hiking, and exploring the nearby cities. Overall, a very good experience.

Decent location, but hotel is in need of an upgrade We spent one night at the hotel for a friend’s wedding. The views from the rooms are nice. We could see a marina. The rooms themselves are old and in need of an upgrade. Each room has a balcony or porch, which is nice; but it was hot when we visited. The mattress was old. The room smelled mildewed. We had breakfast in the dining hall. It is expensive for a very average buffet. We didn’t use the pool or any of the surrounding trails or excursions. The hotel could be nicer than my experience. It is in a good location.

Simple but nice Stopped over for one night and day on way back home. Partially to scout it out for future vacation.
Tremendous lake and resource, good things to do. We rented a room at the main lodge, run by the State Park ...simple pretty clean, great views, nice balcony w views and rocking chairs. Nothing fancy, but functional pretty well maintained. It's not a luxury resort and doesn't pretend to be.
Swimming pool was closed due to waiting on Department of Health Approval.
Rented Kayaks at Marina , had a nice paddle, people friendly.
