Don't Do It We arrived late and exhausted. They had no hypoallergenic pillows. All of the pillows were down. The bedding and mattresses were uncomfortable. Despite having a non-smoking room, the hallways were filled with the smell of marijuana, which seeped into our room. Other guests were literally yelling in the hallways well after midnight. The front desk was not able to help with any of the issues.

Do NOT Stay Here I booked a 3 night stay through a 3rd party booking site (as I do for all of our travels). In fact, we have been traveling the country for over six weeks with no issues. We checked in to The Ramada last night close to midnight after driving almost 12 hours. As soon as we walked in the backdoor it reaked of Marijuana all the way down the hallway - Not a huge deal as we did not smell it in our room and this is common in hotels. We immediately turn on the air conditioning which is a plug in unit on the wall. This is incredibly loud and obnoxious....All night long. We then take our showers and find that not only is the bathroom tiny for even 1 person but the shower doesn't drain properly and the water pressure is bad. Alright, it's after midnight and we have just unloaded our entire car and the top pack of our car...We're exhausted and just want to sleep. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. Now, we are exhausted, feeling dirty after our showers, trying to fall asleep in uncomfortable beds while the air conditioner clicks on and off loudly...All night long. Since I couldn't sleep I texted Priceline asking if we could change hotels. They said I needed to call them - I waited until early morning because my son had just fallen asleep amd I didn't want to wake him. I should mention that I have Multiple Sclerosis so there are certain things I need to be comfortable and function. I don't need an accessible room,, but I do need to be able to sleep and rest or I can go into a flare. That would be awful while traveling and being so far from home in California. So, Priceline calls the hotel and speaks with David, the manager, and he says he will not issue a refund for our remaining 2 nights. He said no. I call David at the front desk and explain everything to him and he is condescending and mocks me. I then asked if this is what he thinks is good customer service and he hung up on me. I called him back and asked for corporates information - He asked what I wanted him to do? I said I would like a refund for the remaining 2 nights because we are checking out early. He said no. I asked if The Americans with Disabilities Act was valid in Minnesota and he laughed then said we have people with disabilities stay here all the time. I should mention that he did offer to change rooms for us but they all had the same air conditioning units and beds. David did mention that he sleeps with the same as unit every night and it doesn't bother him. Apparently, all disabilities are the same and as long as David doesn't have an issue with the noise nobody else should. My husband even went to the front desk to ask David for a refund and tell him he didn't appreciate David laughing at me - Of course David said he didn't laugh at me and he hung up on me because I was rude. He told my husband that due to "terms and conditions" he could not refund the remaining 2 nights. By the way, my husband is the nicest and kindest guy in the universe. Anyway, I'm currently making arrangements to move to another hotel that will allow us to check in early because we can't stay here a minute longer than necessary. Oh....I called customer service and they are putting a ticket in and I should hear back in 7-10 days. Do yourself a favor and book anyplace else besides here...No matter what price you get!

An average stay While it is a decent place to stay, this property did seem dated to me. The quick access to the 394 freeway, absence of road noise and helpful staff are the positive points for this hotel, I did feel that the room I got, a King bed room, was dated. The bathroom was small (partly because the sink is located outside the bathroom), which is not a design I'm personally a fan of. The bathroom tub, the air conditioning unit and floor and ceiling gave off a distinct motel feel that I have seen across many roadside motels in the country. I confess I did expect much more when I made a booking at this property, relying on TripAdvisor reviews and based on the nightly room rent they were charging. Although there were the standard furniture along with a fridge and microwave in out room, the room itself was not too spacious. The property has ample parking on the backside. They have a grab-and-go breakfast currently, which simply consists of microwave-able breakfast sandwiches and no vegetarian options, which was disappointing. But that said, it is likely that the same is the case with a number of hotels at the moment. Coffee and juice was available throughout the day in the lobby, which I would rate as a plus.

superior service by a wonderful staff We have stayed here for many years. The entire staff (front desk and support crew) work closely together to provide superior support and service. I call them a professional family since they have worked together for many years and recognize us when we return with warm greetings and smiles. It is special. Covid forced temporary closing of the wonderful breakfast buffet, replaced with a pickup bag that is entirely acceptable in today's world, showing that the staff tries to maintain top-level support in difficult times to all guests. Overall great value and superb accommodations. Highest recommendation.
