This was my first stay at this hotel the Voco Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa which was a bit of an absolute eye opener ! Voco Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa For the purpose of my review bias, for the last 21 years I have stayed approximately 100 nights a year in the Intercontinental / Holiday Inn Group chain. This has however ultimately been reduced over the last 3 years since the Covid outbreak where my stays have only been around 20 nights per year. This was my first stay at this hotel the Voco Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa which was a bit of an absolute eye opener, to be honest what a great little IHG find and a bargain at £140. My experience of the hotel is as follows: 1) Arrival is easy using the supplied Sat Nav and post code address instructions. 2) On arrival at the hotel the check in staff were extremely pleasant and friendly 3) On arrival as a Holiday Inn Priority Club member, I received a complimentary free upgrade to a suite which was a lovely touch. 4) The car park was free to Hotel Residents 5) All areas including the bedrooms were always well kept, tidy and clean. 6) The suite was exactly what you would expect from a Crowne Plaza / Intercontinental type hotel room. See the attached photos. 7) On this visit the TV and tech in the room ( including WiFi ) all worked well. 8) The evening meal was fresh and delicious although on the small side as a portion if I was being truly honest 9) I left too early for breakfast which was a shame, but I’ll definitely be back again to try it. 10. I arrived too late and left too early to use the Spa and pool, but from outside they looked inviting 11. Check out, was a pain free process with the staff on hand being attentive and polite 12) in summary the hotel scores 4.7/5 for a great new addition to the IHG team that just needs some of the minor water damage to the suite attending to.

Love this hotel. Amazing stay!!!!! Amazing stay at the Lythe Hill Hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are lovely and clean, Spa facilities and pool is lovely with plenty of space to relax and sunbathe outside (we had amazing weather, but I’m not sure we can credit the hotel for that to _). The staff are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble - they always seem to be very helpful and chatty. We had dinner at the hotel as well as Afternoon Tea. The standard of food for both was excellent. The hotel never feels like it’s too busy of crowded - if you are after a really nice relaxing break away this is the perfect hotel for you.

Best Veggie and Vegan Food I must start with the excellent vegetarian and vegan choices in the restaurant. Many wonderful choices and really really good food both for dinner and breakfast Breakfast deserves a special mention as Mitch the brilliant server greeted us so warmly and then when we said we were veggie and vegan she took extra time to show us the choices which were many and really good quality. Mitch came back to check we found everything and these were probably the best options we have had in a hotel for a long long time. Well done and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back here just for the food Rooms are fine - stayed on a hot day/night and the room was hot and we should have asked for a fan but for one night it was ok. Plenty of free car parking and the hotel is set in idyllic fields and gardens and just stunning really Pool was good, plenty of loungers and even set up outside for a bit of sun. Had a treatment each which were excellent and enjoyed the spa side a lot. Downside was a lot of children in the pool, so we would stay out of school holidays next time Overall this is a lovely hotel with very friendly and efficient staff and very good value esp if you are veggie or plant based

Great Hotel with excellent food Just had a two nights stay booked through Secret Estates. Excellent hotel the food is five star too. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff are great nothing is too much trouble for them. The grounds are lovely too with a lake and a gazebo which I think they must use for weddings.
