Amazing dinner at the lodge! Didn’t stay at the hotel but had an amazing dinner at the lodge overlooking beluga lake. Great deck to take in the sights and float planes! Chef is from Hawaii and has some amazing dishes!! Everything from fresh Salmon poke to amazing mixed plates… Also have standard burgers and sandos Highly recommended!!

Great location and great value. Room was clean and had everything I needed: good bedding, hot shower, refrigerator and microwave. Location was close to town and right near the spit. I stayed in several hotels in various locations on this trip to Alaska, this was certainly the best value.

SPECTACULAR! I don't know why there would be bad reviews on this place, unless you're a person who just craves the high-price places for some reason. The rooms were clean, and (no matter what one review said) both bedrooms were plenty big with their own TV. Barbie was great in making our reservations and giving us options for rooms. Beth at check-in and check-out was wonderful and very friendly. Unless you want to spend another $100+ dollars and be real fancy, I highly recommend Beluga Lake Lodge. I will definitely stay there again if I have reason to overnight in Homer.

Very clean and quiet! Stayed at the Beluga Lake Lodge for one night after getting off the ferry. This little hotel is a gem! Great location to access the spit, downtown Homer, and the airport. We walked along the beach for a few hours and easily walked back to the hotel. The views of the mountains and the lake are very pretty from the hotel too. Out of all the places we stayed for our 2 weeks in Alaska, this was the cleanest hotel. The bathroom was so clean and the shower pressure was perfect. The sheets were clean and soft. The floors were clean and you could comfortably walk around barefoot. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Will stay here again!

Not impressed The day I left, the front desk left a voicemail on my phone letting me know I forgot my hat. When I called back, the gal that answered didn’t know about it so I heard her ask Barbie about it and heard Barbie say yes they had it. I asked if I mailed them a prestamped mailer, if they could pop it in the mail and they said yes. So I did just that. Then I got a call from Barbie saying they got rid of the hat because they didn’t know who it belonged to. So that was a straight out lie. I was blown away by the dishonesty. The room: we stayed downstairs so we had a view of rocks and the parking lot. The hallways were very dimly lit with different watts/different shades of yellow light bulbs by every single doorway, The hallway reeked of cigarettes, and it sounded like we had elephants in the room above us. They kept stomping around until close to midnight. The only decent thing about this place was the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. With the dishonesty factor alone, I’d not recommend this place or stay there again.
