Nice place The pillows are the fluffiest. I ever felt the place was very clean. The employees was very helpful and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone I give it a 5 star the rooms. Was very nice and we'll take a care of

STAY AWAY! We attended a family member’s wedding reception at the beautiful Huntingburg Event Center. The city should be trying to get another hotel chain moved in to accommodate guests attending events at their venue. This MOTEL is a dump. The plumbing is atrocious. The tubs are stained and drains rusty. Bathrooms are cramped and poorly lit. When the toilet was flushed there was sewer odor that came from a drain somewhere! The air conditioning worked (albeit noisily) and the room was clean. Those are the only good things I can say about our stay. Our key failed to work when we checked in. Finally got it fixed after the desk attendant had to use his master to open the door. We came back after the reception and the key failed again. The guests next to us had the same issue. Not something you want to happen when you’re tired after a long night of celebrating. The employees were attentive when called upon and I felt sorry for them. I’m sure they’d like to be able to take some pride in their work place. This place needs to be demoed and rebuilt. It is past remodeling. Support railings are rusting in the concrete. We did not eat breakfast there or bother showering. Packed up and headed straight for home the next morning. By the way, the rate for this hotel is way over priced. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Indy next week for the exact same rate. And trust me, I know for a fact the Hilton is far and away better than this motel. As you would assume!!

Disappointed Pool not open. We knew there was a chance it wouldn't be, due to covid, so understandable. We were informed there's not breakfast provided. That was one of the selling points, so we were upset with that. Again, understandable, but it needs to be noted on the website. The kicker was the bathroom in the guest room. The toilet seat was broken (see pic). The tub was dirty/stained (see pics). Brown stains on the shower wall (see pic). I took a wash cloth and soap to it, and most did not come off, but quite a bit did (see pic of wash cloth). The beds seemed clean, the air worked. We only planned to stay the one night so we did not request a new room, but we did show the photos to the front desk attendant.

Won’t stay there again Rooms were dirty, smelled musty. Asked to be moved from the first room due to the odor. The second rooms bathroom wall looked as if someone had diarrhea and hit the wall instead of the commode. Not a good experience and I travel an stay in many hotels; this one was awful. Never again!

Nasty pool!!!! Do not be deceived by the glistening blue water of the pools in the hotel pics posted on there website. These pools are FAR from clean. No one can convince me that this main pool is being filtered properly. The amount of hair that engulfed me on multiple occasions...DISGUSTING. The pool is full of black flakes... What they are I don't know. I will say that the water level is app. 6 inches below the top of the pool. The entire pool, all the way around it, is lined with a good 3 inch wide layer of black something. Mold, mildew, built up body scum, who knows!! It's so obvious I can't believe the hotel let's it look like this. The kiddie pool, well it has green algae growing all the way around the bottom of it. That is until kids get into it and mix it all up then it is no longer noticable. the so called "life ring" meant to be thrown in the pool to rescue you if your drowning, well that's all broken. The inner foam like material is all blown out through broken areas of the ring. Again very noticeable but no bother in fixing it. One of the only two patio umbrellas is broken. Your suppose to be able to crank it open and close, however the rope is broke so cranking it open doesn't work. I personally did not try the hot tub. After the nasty pool I decided to stay out of the water. Oh also, just sitting out by the pool, multiple days we kept smelling sewer gas...yuck...I will say the only descent thing outside was the splashpad. for what it was, it all worked and was sufficient for the area it was in. Onto the room. First glance, looked really nice. Nice color scheme and pretty flower pics on the wall. We stayed for 6 nights so we had a lot of stuff with us. Not until after we had unpacked, did I notice that in the shower, there were 4 REALLY long brown hairs left behind on the shower wall. Very noticeable, not sure how they were missed. Now I'm wondering, ok, how well was this room cleaned. Push back the bed skirt, popcorn on the floor. Multiple little things found around the bed edges on the floor. Even found a gaming controller behind the nightstand....not ours! We were unpacked! Did not want to have to change rooms. Luckily I always take Clorox wipes with me to any hotel. I CLEANED EVERYTHING!! After that felt comfortable with the cleanliness of the room. Fridge worked great. Best one I have ever used in a hotel. Kept our drinks ice cold! Great air conditioning. Thermostat controlled, not some noisy box under a window. Nice large, clean dining area. Lobby nice and clean. Restaurant nice and clean. We didn't eat there but had a drink. Beer was warm, margarita was really good, but wasn't expecting it to be $8, but I'm no margarita expert. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Nothing was gross so that's a plus. I do wish hotels would rotate food items. We had the same food offered all 6 days. I'm sure that's typical but would be nice if some different foods could be rotated in. We chose Huntingburg to stay at because it was a good in between point for things we wanted to do, however, for my family a pool is a must at any hotel we stay at and because of this, we would not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness as far as the pool goes especially.
