OMG!!! In all my many years of travel for business and pleasure I have never experienced a hotel as filthy and run down as this. The room had obviously been a smoking room for a long time and the owners had used an odor eliminator that had a horrible smell. The hair dryer was broke; there was no free breakfast as advertised, nor iron. The carpet was, well, we made sure we kept our socks on when moving round. Nothing was clean in the room. Furniture was in terrible condition. This hotel is part of the Choice Hotels chain and when I called them for a recommendation after being forced to spend the night in Newark due to cancelled flights, they recommended this facility which they called a Comfort Inn. They obviously have no minimum standards for their hotels. Don't stay here!

Mediocre stay with minor issues Upon arrival, we were slightly disappointed due to the size and cleanliness of the room. There were also immediate issues with the toilet. Once contacting the office, they were happy to help mediate the issue. We ended up requesting a change of room due to being fed up with the toilet failing to flush efficiently after the first two nights. We were happy with the second room! The continental breakfast was minimal but sufficed, especially with a Dunkin Donuts right next door. The parking lot was great, lots of spots and was semi-fenced in. Wifi worked great and the front desk was helpful with any concerns we had. We were travelling into NYC via the Hoboken PATH subway which was about a 10-minute drive that we used uber for. It was a great place to crash after busy days in the city.

it's ok. don't take your family here. good enough to crash after sightseeing. The room wasn't stinky like many others have said, though I imagine due to how dated the place is that some rooms have begun to mummify. We wanted a place close enough to Manhattan for new years eve and sight seeing, but cheap enough to not have to pay mortgage rates. we just wanted a place to crash. Noisy. get ear plugs. It's located on a main drag, and there was either banging grinding maintenance being done every night by the motel staff on the rooms or something terrible was happening to someone. dunkin donuts is right next door - way better coffee and breakfast options than the (in)continental breakfast. NBD shuttles leave in the morning for times square, 15 bucks for a return trip that evening. also one block away there's a shuttle type bust for $3.50 to just across the lincoln tunnel in Manhattan - there's a bus depot and it goes every 15 minutes. Uber is about 35 to 45 bucks to times square in a pinch. 10 bucks uber to the Hoboken station and Journal station, and about 15 bucks to the Liberty Park in Jersey for ferries to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. overall it was ok, cheap enough to afford a week long trip for sightseeing. don't take your family here.
