Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kerrville, an IHG Hotel

Updates happening and they are great! Check in was quick and friendly. The elevator was dated and smelled like chlorine so we were a little worried, but when it opened on the third floor, we were greeted with brand new carpet that looked and smelled great! Our room was enormous with updates (carpet and furnishings) throughout. Bed was super comfortable! My husband loved the breakfast & usually won’t eat a hotel buffet! Updates are still in progress but it’s looking great!

Nice room. Terrible breakfast Hotel cleanliness nice on the inside. Room was extra large with above average soap & shampoo. Side entrance on the outside is not maintained at all. Bird crap all over the keycard entrance that you had to remove each time before entrance. It was quite disgusting. Worst part was the breakfast. Tasteless eggs and the so called omlet was more tasteless eggs with an American cheese slice placed in the middle. It wasn’t even melted. Will try some other place in the future.

Good stay for a Holiday Inn Express Stayed for almost two weeks. Staff was always friendly and accusations were what you would expect a “Holiday Inn Expess” would offer. Rooms were clean and a bed to sleep in at the end of the night was what I needed. They offer a nice pool, what you’d expect breakfast and cookies throughout the day. I’d stay again for the price that a Holiday Inn Express should be.

Not pet friendly! I had a medical emergency and I was not planning on having to stay in a motel. But I found myself in Kerrville Texas and I needed a room badly. It was 104° out and I was in my truck with my service dog that works with me 24 /7 After doing my due diligence I found this Holiday Inn express Kerrville Texas and the website clearly states” pet friendly” When I arrived at the motel I was checked in and I was given room 202 when I ask him directions to the room because I wanted to take my dog out to go to the restroom the lady behind the counter said “oh no! we’re not pit friendly! you can’t have a dog in here!” And I replied “the website says that your pet friendly” she replied “I know I’m sorry but we’re not pet friendly“ basically acknowledging that the website is incorrect and this is their problem not my problem! Immediately demanded my money back! And because of my medical issues I was not very happy person at this point! By this time a second lady came to the front desk. It was clear that she was making eyes at the lady to make her shut her mouth about the website. At this point this lady started to interrogate me “what website did you go to” trying to make this my problem! And I needed the money to be put back on the card so I could go to another motel. And again the second lady said “ we have nothing to do with the card issue“ failing to take responsibility on the mistake that their company made! I live and work in the hill country and I will make sure that every single person I know is aware of how I was treated in my own community by the Holiday Inn express Kerrville Texas

Worst hotel room I’ve ever had AC does not blow cold sweating the entire time and they said all rooms would be like this at least 90° makes loud clanking sounds so even if you pass out from heat exhaustion, it wakes you up every 15 minutes would rather sleep in my truck and burn diesel then pay the $180 this thing cost him. This is pure criminal. and no human should withstand these conditions.
