Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Klamath Falls

Awesome staff, great location Michelle was so wonderful at checking us in. It doesn' get better. I could save money, but have decided not to and instead arrive earlier to klamath on my trips and enjoy this fine inn and its great staff. I used to stay mostly at super 8. This inn and staff make this a real part of our vacation, not just a sleep over.

Very clean, large room w/frig-freez, microwave, coffee maker and fixin’s. Glass water & coffee cups. Fluffy bath towels. Convenient location. Restaurants nearby. Free, ample, parking. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Rooms are very large with bed(s), living room with pull-out sofa bed. TV in both living area and bedroom space. Kitchenette with sink. Bathroom has separate sink with large counters

Horrible. Advertises a restaurant, no restaurant. One coffee packet in room for two people. Asked front desk for extra and was told there isn't any, and that they are strict about coffee. No continental breakfast. High price for no normal amenities. Service fee on top of room cost. Never again!

Older hotel. Large rooms. No breakfast. Large rooms. Conveniently located. Two sinks. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Room was clean. Pool and spa were clean. The restaurant is gone. We stayed here about eight years ago and they had a restaurant but no more. They have a sign in the lobby stating "No Breakfast." The hotel was almost empty, I think because people want to stay at hotels that include breakfast.

Leaves a Lot to be Desired This property left a lot to be desired. To start with, the rooms are very poorly designed. For one thing, the bathroom and sink are separate. The sink is located to the right of the doorway and the bathroom is to the left. That meant that in order to brush my teeth, etc. in the morning, I had to turn on the light and wake up my wife, who is not an early riser. Then all the light switches are located at the entrance, which means that every time we wanted to turn on or off the lights, we had to go back to the entrance. There are not enough electrical outlets near the bed, which means that we had to leave phones charging in other areas. The air conditioner was quite noisy. There was also a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke in the rooms, probably from a previous incident with a smoker. The carpet was stained. The wi-fi was weak and hard to connect to. The beds were not very comfortable. They did not clean our room. When we asked them about it, we were told that they don't clean rooms for short stays. Say what? There was no free breakfast. And last, but not least, there was no channel guide for the TV in the room and none of the guide buttons on the remote worked. The only way to find a channel, was to start flipping through them all. All in all, it was not a very pleasant stay and I would recommend you find a different hotel.
