Motel 6 Lansing, IL - Chicago South

Not for all Love Ms Sharon and the housekeeper that works the 1st floor. Never got her name but they were very helpful and always respectful The Mexican lady that comes in at 3 is not it. We left our number with front desk in case our kids(dogs) Pooh and Shiesty got loose. July 3rd they got out and she called the police and told the officers they were aggressive and attacking ppl. Lansing police collared my dog from each side with yard poles. Shiesty gave up, laid down, and submitted and the police decided to shoot him anyways. She never once tried to call us, no call to animal control, or the humane society. They justed decided to shoot him because he was pitbull. They claim he was aggressive when I know better. We didn't bring him up to be vicious. They shoot him in the head and dragged him behind the garbage like he was trash. Then she told the owner that water was thrown in her face. Shiesty was killed, Pooh was taken to the police station and then they told us we had to leave. She doesn't do nothing but sit up in that chair all day. She won't help with nothing and she's an alcoholic. Let me include the last stay I had here, after paying for my room the Mexican lady used her key to open my door to tell me I didn't pay. Had to remind her I did and she had put my payment towards somebody else's room. This situation with my son could've be handled a lot better, from the Mexican lady and LANSING POLICE!!!!!!!

Horrible motel Fights in the hallways all night long, was waiting for gun shots, floor was wet from the Chemicals that they used. No coffee maker as advertised, no fridge, microwave, nothing at all, so for 90 dollars a night, go somewhere else and get some real sleep.

THE WORST EVER!!!!!! My husband and I were passing through, on a 2 day travel by car trip and so, I wanted to find a dog friendly hotel, somewhat away from Chicago. I went online and found this Motel 6 and booked it, about four hours out. By the time we got there, the house behind the desk said all the rooms were reserved except a suite with the broken jacuzzi, and the whole extra room was unusable. The desk clerk basically told me, take it or leave it, and we were so tired we took it. This hotel must be some sort of crack house, because there were people laying on the floor on doorways, in front of doors, all over the place. The next morning, there was garbage everywhere, including empty beer and booze bottles, EVERYWHERE. The whole place was disgusting. When I checked out the next morning, I said to the gal at the desk, that, wow, for a non-smoking room, it sure stunk. She said it wasn’t a non smoking room. I was floored, as that t what I had reserved. Then, she refused to give me a discount or refund and was completely unsympathetic. If I could give this hotel a lower rating, I’d have given it a MINUS TEN!! Do what I recommend, STAY AWAY!!

Dump This place is a dump and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! As soon as I walked in, it smelled like someone was smoking weed right there in the lobby!!! The place was filthy and definitely does not portray it's photos online!!! Maybe management should step it up..it should be shut down!!!

Disgusting-DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked a room for one night on Hotels.com. The photos on their site show a recently updated motel. Our room was nothing like that. It was filthy and apparently still under construction. Hair all over the floor, stuck in the “clean” towels, no trim on the walls, exposed drywall, filth and rust inside the air conditioner...the list goes on. We left an hour after checking in. The hotel and website both refuse to refund our money, citing their cancellation policy. I intend to follow up on this matter.
