Chambery Inn

Pleasant room in a pleasant village All as advertised. Completely pleasant stay. Enjoyed walking to dinner and breakfast. Stayed in the "Smallest Room in the Berkshires". Nice that there were no steps to the ground floor entrance - wheeled the luggage in. Size of the doorways is presumably all that prevents that floor from being 'accessible'. Brought my own hazelnut k-cup and used it in the common machine.

Thanksgiving weekend in a lovely old inn Beautiful historic property (former school) renovated with modern amenities, including a large-screen TV. Our room (one of the schoolhouse suites) was huge and immaculately clean, with 2 recliners, king canopy bed, and fireplace. Soaring 13 foot ceilings and large windows made the room airy, bright and so comfortable on a cold day. Plenty of storage, including a closet with robes, extra pillows and blankets, lots of hangers and a large bureau let you settle in for a long stay. Continental breakfast was delivered in the morning, and the room had a coffee maker with in-room fridge as well. Check in was smooth - our goody bag with info /recommendations for local restaurants and sites was waiting for us in the foyer. Being a holiday weekend, it was quiet, but we met Bob (one of the owners) the following morning and he promptly attended to a small issue with our TV remote - even updated us via text - and was very accessible for any questions/concerns. Overall, a lovely inn with friendly and very accommodating owners. They clearly care about their guests' comfort and it shows in a number of details - like warning that rooms on lower floors might hear noise from rooms above them. (It's an old building, but we didn't find that to be a problem for us). Lee is one of the quieter towns in the Berkshires, so if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, this just might be what you need.

Beautiful! Great place to visit the Berkshires! Clean spacious room with extra touch of breakfast basket delivered to your door! We entered the Inn and found a welcome bag with water and local pamphlets., and the key to our room waiting for us. Lots of restaurants in the area. Don’t miss the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Shaker Museum!

Charming Inn in downtown Lee, MA. Lovely, immaculately clean inn. Easy check in/out. Central to downtown Lee, MA. In room coffee. Quality linens. Not sure the room was completely secure. Returned from breakfast to find door ajar. Perhaps over eager housekeeping service? It was startling as a solo female traveler. Use your do not disturb sign when away from room for clear communication to staff.

A gret place to go! What a lovely place: quiet, beautiful room, clean, a wonderful breakfast of home made muffins and scones, diligent service, gracious hosts who provided early check in and late check out. Perfect time!!!!!
