was really hoping for better me and my wife stayed the the Dilly mid may, at room 643. we like that area of London so booked a 4 night stay at the hotel. location are great and all you could want of the city's attractions are just a short walk or ride from the place. check in was fast and the staff did a good job welcoming us. went a bit downhill from there, at least one of the tiny lifts was out of service so waiting time getting to and from the lobby from your room could take a good while. other guests commented on the same. Sadly the room we got was dark, had a very noisy climate fan, (that needed to run constantly for the air to be breathable in the room) paint literally coming off the bathroom ceiling and fixtures. and yes, a 5 star hotel with en Eco shower head making it a real struggle and time consuming task getting the shampoo out of my short hair. the bed was okei, but really, the room was worn out. renovations not an option at this stage, it's a dire necessity. we even had a wet spot develop in the floor when we were out, getting back to some of our clothes getting wet. hoping it was water, but that's a new experience. staff didn't seem too concerned about it so maybe it happens often?. I see other guests have had better experience than we did, so maybe we just got a real bad room. anyways, London was great as usual and we will be back for another holiday in the future. but maybe looking for sole fresher accommodations.

Cannot wait for our next trip!!! My mother and I are super excited to be staying at this wonderful hotel later in the week! We have stayed 4 times now and have made such glorious memories! We have celebrated my mother’s 80th, my 50th and have always been so delighted with the many surprises that have awaited us! We have been treated like royalty and the care and attention to their guests from Selim is second to none! We have never felt so welcome! The rooms are spotless, spacious and in the best location for theatre goers and shoppers! We cannot wait to come back! The staff are all wonderful and kind, the breakfast is fabulous and we always eat in Madhirs which is highly recommended. The afternoon tea was a real treat and was one of the best we had experienced in London! The pool is enormous and a real hidden gem in the heart of the city! Looking forward to seeing this wonderful hotel again on Friday! Dawn and Sheila.

Do it, you won’t regret it. Absolutely brilliant! It was our anniversary and the wonderful staff decorated our lovely room with petals and kind messages and made us feel looked after and cared about. We went to the bar when we returned after the show we saw and it was wonderful. We felt very special. Can’t wait to return !

So happy we stayed here! Lovely hotel in the center of all London has to offer. Staff is very kind and accommodating. The building is very old and charming so all the rooms have their own character. The breakfast spread is absolutely amazing and in a beautiful sunlit room with high ceilings and an outdoor terrace. You will not be disappointed!
