Hollywood Historic Hotel is a great boutique hotel. We really enjoyed our 5 nights at the Hollywood Historic Hotel. Location was excellent and close to where we needed to go. We liked the small size of the hotel. Our third floor room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfy. The lobby is beautiful and the hotel has charm. Michael at the front desk offered some suggestions about places to go but we already had a full schedule. All of the staff we met were polite. The halls are decorated with images of vintage movie stars. We loved the secure off-street parking lot. The Edmon restaurant and bar (over 21) next door was great. Good food and an amazing ginger margarita. Excellent coffee, breakfast sandwiches and quiche at the coffee shop/bakery on the corner. We would stay there again on another trip to Hollywood.

Stay away from them The hotel is outdated, and I feel the management is dishonest and unwilling to resolve issues fairly. I booked a two-night stay at this hotel, but my experience was so terrible that I left within 10 minutes. The noise from the street outside was unbearable, making it impossible to rest. I immediately contacted the front desk to request a refund, they told me to call the day after. I called and they didn't want to talk to me, they only to be told that they wouldn’t offer any refund as the noise wasn’t their responsibility. To make matters worse, they accused me of leaving the room in poor condition, which is completely untrue as I was there only briefly and didn’t use anything. I sent numerous emails explaining the situation, yet I received no response at all. If you value a peaceful stay and good customer service, avoid this hotel

And Enjoyable Stay in a Gracious Historic Hotel The staff are all friendly but Mike is especislly helpful and friendly! He made our stay perfect! Also, the bed was comfy, the neighborhood quiet, and there is a very good restaurant/bar right there with outdoor seating. The only downside is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. There is also nowhere to grab breakfast (don't believe the bs about Sweet Corner next door - they had one, not one type, of breakfast sandwich, a bunch of premade burrios, and a bagel but no cream cheese). We did find a McDonalds a 2 minute drive away.

Great budget hotel Great hotel for a budget, we stayed here on a multi centre trip in December and it was ideal for keeping the budget down. It was tidy, clean and what we needed it for which was really a bed and shower. It was a quirky building and the bar next door was lovely with a great atmosphere. We also grabbed a bite to eat on a morning from the bakery just along from the hotel so was great to be able to grab something befofe heading out for the day

My stay in this hotel was….. Nice hotel but no tea/coffee maker. Toiletries supplied but had been used already. Carpet in room stained but hotel had nice outside area. Public space was good. Recommend for the location and outside space and a lovely coffee/cake shop on the corner. Places to eat nearby.
