Nice place at a great price For the price you cannot beat this place. I spent two weeks at this hotel while on a business trip. I stayed in an executive suite - when you first walk in there is a family room with desk, couch, arm chair, 2 ottomans, a dresser and large TV. Very nice space. Then there is a hallway that goes to the bedroom in the rear - you walk past the bathroom on one side with a credenza and open closet on the other (with a large mirror over the counter, small refrigerator and microwave underneath) The newly renovated rooms were very nice and the king size bed and pillows were great. Another big screen TV in the bedroom. I really liked the full length mirror in the bedroom. The pressure in the shower was not the best but it was sufficient and unlike some other reviewers I found no problems with getting hot water. Dove Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Lotion all provided. The floor was pergo which I prefer over carpet but it was pretty dirty. The a/c unit is in the bedroom and on hotter days it was harder to keep the family room cool. The included breakfast didn't provide a huge selection but plenty of choices including eggs, a breakfast meat, some kind of starch (potato, biscuits or pancakes) as well as a variety of cereals, toast/pastries, OJ, coffee, water. All in all, I would stay here again.

Best deal in Mansfield Wingate Ontario has renovated! Our room was brand new and very modern. Shower has glass doors instead of cheap curtains. Room was very quiet and staff very friendly. TV remote not user friendly at first, took a couple days to figure out. And still same low price. Best deal in Mansfield.

The best in it's class The rooms have been renovated to the best in class or better! Everything from the service to the bedding to the amenities are first rate. The breakfast is above average. it's on a convenient location just. off US30, near shopping, fastfood and restaurants

Horrible hotel Upon arrival we saw that the pillow had blood on it. There was a 3 foot portion of the ceiling that was separated from the top and looked like it may cave in, filthy curtains and a portion of the window was separated from the wall. Called twice to speak to the manager but never received a call back. Emailed head office and they said because it was booked thru Expedia they could do nothing for a refund or a change in the rate. They only offered some points to their hotel. Spoke to two individuals at Expedia who both called the hotel to try and get a refund but it was denied. Expedia could do nothing but give me $45.00 in Expedia points. This room should have never been rented out and management would not take ownership on this issue.

Quiet location. Our stay at The Wingate in Mansfield OH was like what we expected. The hotel needs a major renovation (which is going on as we speak).Room was okay, real cold but the heater worked fine so no problem. Room was fine, the beds were comfortable (could use an upgrade on the quality of the pillows). But the (large size) room itself was clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Better than average. The outside was a disappointment, the parking area was full of loose pavement with holes al over. But for us it was sufficient and had a good stay. Would stay again.
