Poor costumer service Arrive to the area for work for an event. Pros: Hotel was clean Rooms were clean Breakfast buffet had freshly made food Cons: Poor costumer service, upon arriving no one greeted our group at the lobby even when they saw us coming in. The lobby was completely empty. I had to approach the counter and speak to be acknowledged. No sign were up to say wet paint therefore my shirt was ruin by leaning over the counter to give my credit card, not even the front desk person warn us about the paint on the counter. “ I received a very weak sorry, we just painted “ and transaction continued. Manager came out and said the same thing then proceed to go in the back and print a sign of wet paint to be placed on the counter and retreated in her back office. My interaction with staff remain limited after that until check out. As a traveler and Hilton Honors member, I have Hampton Inn subpar performance on consumer service.

Not up to Hilton standards This is a very dated Hampton Inn. Walked in the room and it smelled old and moldy. Mattress had a topper on top, it was very uncomfortable, old mattress. The app was not working, I took the time to book on the app and check in on the app.. but the hotel was not able to release my digital key.. wtf.. the WiFi was awful so the non use of the digital key must have to do with the dated technology in the hotel.. This hotel is not up to the Hilton Hampton Inn standard..

I Will Not Stay Again. I stayed at this hotel on 4-08-24 as it was located just off of I-81. I booked the room using the Hilton app when I was about an hour away and decided that Martinsburg was where I wanted to spend the night. To provide some context, I have been a Hilton Diamond member for 10 years and have stayed in my fair share of Hilton brand hotels. As I was walking towards the lobby, I noticed a strong smell of weed in the parking lot. When I checked in at the front desk, I saw a display of drinks and snacks for Gold and Diamond members to choose from. However, the front desk clerk didn't offer me anything when I received my key and wished me a pleasant stay. When I asked if I could have a Coke, she replied that they only had Diet Coke, which I declined. I noticed that the store in the lobby had a refrigerator with over 30 regular Cokes inside, but I didn't say anything. When I arrived in my assigned room, room 406, I found that it hadn't been cleaned. There were no linens on the beds, and there were trash bags on the floor. The bathroom was also in a terrible state. I went back down to the lobby and explained the situation to the female employee who checked me in. She reassigned me to room 306, but she didn't apologize for the inconvenience caused by the dirty room. The next morning, as I was looking for an ice machine to fill my water bottle, I heard some employees complaining about customers in a room adjacent to the store. It was easy to hear everything they were saying, and customers should never be subjected to such behavior. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt that I should in this case. There are two other Hilton brand hotels off this exit, and I recommend staying at one of those instead.

Hampton Inn very convenient spot! taking a road trip and we needed a place to rest up 1/2 way. this was easy to get to - right off the highway. there are several eateries in the immediate area - with more around the corner. it's hidden away from the road but you'll get there. nice layout of the exterior and interior lobby. we were warmly greeted by sara --- i asked her about our hilton honors welcome gift. she apologized profusely by saying she didn't have any at the moment and she could make a few for us. we brought food into the lobby and had our dinner there - while doing so, she brought our gift bags out to us - apologizing still. WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! so sweet! i also saw her interact with other guests and she was on point - super friendly, didn't get frazzled. she explained everything to me - about b'fast and fitness room, etc .... super job sara!! room was well appointed. however, did NOT like the 'sliding barn door' on the bathroom WITH NO LOCK!! not cool, Hampton Inn - not cool. instead of the traditional swing out/in door, i guess they did it to save space - but it's so uneasy to be doing your business and there's no lock on the door. not a fan of this at all!!! rooms were good - - a bit on the small side, but well appointed, had what you needed. breakfast - pre-made omelettes, sausage, potatoes, 2 waffle stations to make your own, juice/tea/coffee, cereal, oats, breads, danish. dining area seemed a bit small compared to other hamptons i've seen but it didn't seem crowded with a full capacity hotel stay. this is a good spot to stop for our road trip - and as long as Sara is there, we'll be back!!

Pick a different hotel! This was an unplanned stop on a road trip back to NY state. Have stayed at many Hampton Inns and in my experience you can always expect a clean room and better than average breakfast. This hotel offers neither. The room had an odd smell to it and we decided that it must be the fan that runs continuously in the bathroom (even with the light off it runs) pulls smells from the sink pipe and you get kind of a garbage/sewer smell. Closing the bathroom door helped mitigate the smell some. Room was not very clean although the sheets did appear to have been changed and looked clean. Odd "no closet" arrangement at the end of the room which is just a curtain you can pull over a few hangers set into the wall. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was not up to Hampton Inn standards by any means. There are other hotels in the area - we tried to stay at the Home2Suites which is just around the corner from this hotel but they were fully booked. Try any of the other hotels in the area - skip this one.
