Comfortable, and great location. Not a fancy hotel but its clean, has a nice continental breakfast, plenty of parking, comfortable beds. Spacious room. Ten minutes away from Newport, Thame Street and Bowen’s Wharf. Small refrigerator in the room, nice size TV. No safe or blow dryer in the room. For who ever wants to save money and have breakfast there, they have fresh fruit, bagels, various types of bread, cream cheese, muffins, pound cake, coffee, tea, juice. Have no complaints. I would go back. Taproot Winery near by. Ma’s Donuts 2 minutes walk. Domino’ pizza next door.

Horrible service Booked a handicap room and had it stated in my email and it was given to another guest instead. As of that we where put on the second floor. I'm on a cane with limited mobility and also use a scooter as well. My mother is also on a cane and my father has heart problems. Because of this we where only able to barely able to get up the steps so we only got to do half of what we went for. Also because of this I wasn't able to charge my scooter so I only had limited battery life. Also couldn't shower and need my parents to get me off the toilet. Floors uneven trip many times. There's a three inch step down to the room and my father triped there resulting in a hairline fracture in his wrist. Horrible place. Then choice only refunded me half my stay. Never will I come to a choice hotel.

Large room We stayed here overnight while in the area. The room was large. The beds just ok. One was hard the other was comfy. (Guess who got the hard one?). Looks like some people live here. There was some road noise but once we fell asleep it was fine. They did have a breakfast so that was good for us. Price was ok.

Big Mistake Just came back from a family wedding in Newport and made the mistake of staying at the Rhodeway Inn in Middletown. They gave us a room on the first level. You immediately smelled dampness when you entered the hallway. Our room felt like we were in an unfinished basement with no carpeting, bare unfinished walls and poor lighting. We changed and rushed out to make the wedding but discovered that our toilet leaked the next morning when we stepped in water all over the floor. Worst hotel experience yet!

Not Fancy, But Serviceable I was a little bit concerned when I read some of the reviews, but our experience was just fine. Room could use some updating, but was clean. Air con worked well, beds were comfortable, we had an interior hallway room and there was no noise that I heard. My only concern was the tub seemed slippery, but I used the hand towel to eliminate the issue. Breakfast was simple (croissants, bagels, cereal, fruit) but adequate before a day of sightseeing.
