No customer service. Used to be good I stay here a lot. This trip was 12 nights. The elevator wasn't working. My dad is in the hospital so I extended my trip. Every time I added a night it got more and more expensive. I think as a senior citizen with probably 30 times staying here over the past five years and the elevator being down they would have discounted my rate. Never again.

worst hotel we called them and told we will be doing the late checkin, the hotel manager and frontdesk people were so rude and they literally asked us to not come after 12:30 Am . there was no exception and they did not even refund our money . and instead they made us panic at the middle of the night despite telling them we had kids and elderly people. worst hotel experiance

' Extended stay America ' another hotel but potential home from home. Hello, I visited Pittsburgh recently to attend a fan convention ' The living dead weekend '. I found the ' Extended stay America ' was just right for me with it about a thirty minute walk from the Monroeville Mall where the convention took place. I liked the ' Extended stay America '. My room was clean with a bed, some furniture, T.V., an ironing board and iron, phone, bathroom and kitchen area. I found the ' Extended stay America ' chain a little different from other hotels in that there is the option for residents to stay long term. Other residents I spoke to seemed to live there like they were renting flats etc. There were facilities like a laundrette too. The only negative for me was after having a problem with my mobile phoning home in the U.K.. I found my room phone couldn't phone abroad either. All the staff were pleasent and helpful.

Friendly Staff Great location of you want to stay and visit in Monroeville! We stayed next to a small strip mall with good food options and a pharmacy. The hotel staff was super friendly. We were in town to care for an ailing family member. The hotel guest services team asked about our Nana daily:). The grab and go breakfast of granola bars, muffins and oatmeal, tea, and coffee were good amenities for the chain. I would have liked to have had juice and fruit offered for the children. The room was super nice with a full kitchen and regular sized refrigerator. The room had multiple desks and chairs in the room when normally there is only one desk chair and desk. The bed was comfy and pillows were soft. We had to stay for 3 weeks so it would have been nice to get a discount for the extended stay. You have to have a rental car if you are planning to do anything in downtown.
