Decent stay Some of the reviews I read would have scared me away from this property all to complete. Upon arrival and stay, however, it wasn’t nearly as bad. Is there improvements that are needed? Definitely. But are they trying? It sure as hell seems so. For my whole stay I saw cleaning being done 3-4 times in other rooms, the front desk ladies were very conversational and pleasant the night of check-in and the lady at check-out was just as pleasant. The bathroom sink did not have very good drainage but it also was not something to ruin a trip over, just mildly annoying. The fridge worked quite fine froze when turned to max cooled when lowered. Furniture was sturdy would have liked a little dusting especially with the over bed lamps but not disgusting in the slightest merely regular dustiness. The sheets were clean (verified by a black light flashlight) it, however, did have 2 purposefully sliced holes in the comforter clean nonetheless. Other reviews mentioned the elevators so I will too, 1 elevator was down because of repairs, 1 had a floppy panel but worked regardless and the other worked fine just a bit slow. Overall a good stay especially if your goal is to be exploring the area and having fun instead of being in the hotel room for a large part of your stay. Again if I had read just the reviews I would not have stayed but everyone’s experience is different, for the price paid it was a decent stay solid 3.5/5 experience.

Filthy The floors were filthy.. they were not swept or mopped. Only 1 elevator was working. Disappointed since we had to wait until 4:00 to check in. The floors needed swept with a broom. Bugs, cobwebs, and dirt everywhere. The desk chair was missing a wheel. Almost fell over when I sat in it.

Not terrible but not a Hilton property Decent hotel. What I expected and maybe even a little better. Room was clean which was greatly appreciated. Hallways and elevator looked differently. Could have used a little more attention. Area is convenient to beach, putt putt and a couple restaurants. Beach in walking distance. About 2 blocks away. Sidewalk available. The room we reserved came with a fridge and microwave. The whole fridge worked like a freezer lol The toilet sat very low. Any men around 6ft are going to be splashing pee all over the place. Plus it’s uncomfortable to get on and off toilet. My biggest complaint will be that there is a lot of long term guest that stay here that have gotten real comfortable and hang out in the halls and outside. The noise in the halls at night was a bit annoying, it would periodically wake me up and the wall/door that connected to room next to us was thin and we heard our neighbors tv/talking a lot. Front desk lady that helped me check in and out was nice enough but almost passive nice/to nice. I didn’t get a good vibe from her. Anyways, I would stay again but wouldn’t make it my first choice.

GREAT BUDGET HOTEL, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, GREAT LOCATION Great location, beautiful well maintained grounds and pool, friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Rooms are newly renovated with new furniture and very clean. Nice white sheets and bedding. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Only negative is that they no longer offer breakfast, but they do have free coffee in the lobby. Liked that all of the rooms are only accessible from the inside of the building and you have to have a room key to get inside the building. This is a good safety feature so just anyone cannot come into the building. They do allow dogs to stay for free and we were concerned about this. I saw small dogs, but they were well behaved and on leashes. We did not hear any dogs barking until the night before we left when we wanted to get a good night's sleep before our long drive home. A dog in the next room started barking non-stop and we called the front office after a half hour. The dog was no doubt all alone and very unhappy. After another half hour of the barking dog, we called again and were told by the front desk that the owners of the dog were told they needed to get the dog to be quiet or they needed to leave. A half hour later you could hear the dog barking as he was led down the hall. The next day when we checked out we asked about the dog and they said the owners were out on the town and told they needed to come back immediately to take care of their dog. They then locked them out of their room so that they would have to go to the front desk. So obviously there is a procedure in place to take care of annoying dogs which is great. If you are planning on taking a dog here, make sure it is well behaved and doesn't bark when you are not in the room. Overall we were very happy with our week long stay here and would stay here again. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We were very comfortable.

5 stars for expected value for the brand and price Had an occasion this past week to spend 3 nites for business and was given a Superior King suite. Everything was perfect for this stay. It must be remembered this is a value leader brand. That said, it doesn't show it. No breakfast, and daily housekeeping was suspended (thought the front desk accommodates any of your needs for towels, etc). But the room was updated, wi-fi worked, water was hot, TV was fine, bedding good and terrific wraparound desk/workspace. Pool looked clean, safe parking, and coffee on all the time in lobby (and in-room). More than I've gotten in other value chains. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating - various members over all days.
