Comfort Suites Nacogdoches

Pleasantly surprised I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I have stayed at two others in this town and have been pretty disappointed in them . this hotel was very clean, great breakfast and a friendly staff! The room matched the pictures online. It was clean. They had water and cookies in the lobby even. When I arrived I was able to check into my room promptly. I do have to say it was graduation weekend for SFA and that is why I was there so it was very overpriced for the area. So obviously they were price gauging but I needed to arrive a night earlier to help my daughter with some things so I was willing to pay the $300 for the room instead of having to drive 30 more minutes to lufkin. It’s not a $300 a night hotel by any means but I was happy with my overnight accommodation. Everything in the room worked, it wasn’t noisy and the bed was comfortable.

Not clean - no help from management We checked in for a one night stay with our family after hours of traveling on the road. Immediately upon entering the room we noticed that the bathroom had barely been cleaned (if at all). There was urine on the seat and by the toilet. We also noticed there were bugs in the lights behind the beds. On top of that, the AC was out in the building. We immediately decided to check out. I spoke with the gentlemen behind the desk and he informed that there was no manager on duty but someone would call and rectify the situation. I spoke with a manager a few days later and he assured me they would be approving our refund to the third party we booked with. A month later the third party said they did not get the authorization of the refund but that it could take 6-8 weeks for processing. Another month passes and no refund. I called and was told the hotel still had not authorized any refund. I then called the hotel and spoke with a manager who said she would have to check with her General Manager to see what is going on and to call back an hour later. I call back an hour later and she had left, so there was no one to talk to. At this point all I can do is share the frustration and inform any potential customers not to stay here.

Newly remodeled. Best place to stay. Ready to go back. Completely remodeled, top to bottom. Staff is amazing. Cleanliness is top priority. I stayed in 2022 and was happy to see the changes in 2023. I declined staying at a historical hotel downtown to stay at Comfort Suites. I would come back in October if my assignment is continued.

2023 Texas family trip convenient and friendly personell; no issues even with the construction. My only complaint was the limited hot -what was offered was ok but very limited compared to most other comfort suites I've stayed at in multiple states. I would book this hotel and recommend it to others.

Bad experience The room we had here was just down right nasty, even had what looked like dried blood on the door trim in the bathroom, holes in the wall, carpet worn out. I don't know who is writing there good reviews because our room was a mess.
