Novotel Suites Nice Airport

A cosy, relaxed stay in the lovely city of Nice Only stayed here for one night, but despite the short stay, I loved what I saw. Reception was cosy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious yet comfortable, provided with a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, sink and a double and single bed. Bathroom was lovely and shampoo was amazing. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was fabulous with a great variety of juices, pastries, fruits, coffees and hot foods. Didn't have a chance to get into the swimming pool sadly but it looked really nice. I definitely recommend this apartment/hotel. It is fabulous.

Great hotel just not great location You really couldn’t fault this hotel in almost all aspects. Spotlessly clean rooms, a wee pool with free towels and exceptionally polite and attentive staff. We asked for a late checkout and this was no problem - free til 1pm and 40 euro til 5pm. Buffet breakfast is the usual fare and the area for breakfast peaceful and clean. BUT… there is literally nothing in the area. No restaurants, shops, nothing. Trams stop right outside but it’s a 25 minute journey into Nice. That’s fine once a day but to spend the day at the beach, come back, change and go back out again was wearing to say the least. In addition, trams stop at 10:30 so if your flight gets in after that, you’ll have to take a taxi for which the is a minimum 35eu charge (for one mile!!)

Not worth the money Booked this airport hotel for the night before our flight back to the UK. I chose it for the restaurant and the pool and expected a reasonable service for my €188. Whilst the reception staff were nice enough and friendly, the hotel isn't worth the money. Bed sheets were rough, no milk provided in the room for the tea, and weirdly the restaurant is closed at weekends so no dinner either! In an international airport hotel I expected a varied breakfast and a couple of English speaking tv channels - no €19 for a typical French breakfast and on the TV only BBC world news and CNN in English. No channels in any other language but French. YouTube offered at €4.99 per film and no Netflix access. Very, very poor.

Lovely hotel, OUTSTANDING staff! Short stay business trip. Arrived just after mid day from a flight from the UK. And the process of getting to the hotel from the airport is easy. I packed light and was happy to walk. The walk from the airport to the hotel is around 15 minutes and I found it rather easy to navigate. Upon arrival at the hotel I was met with a really friendly smile at reception. The gentlemen who checked me in was very friendly and accommodating. I found it really pleasant how he referred to me as my surname. I found this really nice and I have never experienced this when travelling before. So overall on customer service I have to give it 5*. Rooms were lovely and spacious plenty of storage space and clean. I cant fault the room at all. Only issue I did pick up is this is one of the first hotels I have stayed in where I have not received toiletries such as a comb, tooth brush and paste ect. But there is shower gel and shampoo. This is not really an issue but travelling light for business it just helps a little if the hotel offers these. Pool area was very clean and tidy pool was inviting and very refreshing. Location wise you are a short distance from Nice and Monaco which is very nice I walked into Nice town from the hotel along the beach front and found this took around 2 hours grand total of walking there and back. The beach area is very clean and lovely!! Overall this was a very short stay for work but I will definitely be looking at returning to this hotel in the future. Once again thank you for a nice and simple stay and your staff are a credit to this hotel!

But especially we are grateful to Antoine and Julie for help. We had an accident and Antoine helped us to find a hospital where we received high quality help.
