Absolutely Amazing! If you’re looking for a modern place to stay with the aesthetic Scarborough Inn is for you. Sne and the staff were attentive and extremely welcoming. It was home away from home for me. I loved the porch, music and everything this place has to offer. Cleanliness was outstanding! The rooms are breathtaking, crisp and modern. I will be staying here from now on when I visit OCNJ. Best place to stay hands down! Thank you Scarborough!!!

The Place To Be! I’ve been visiting OCNJ for many years and returned to The Scarborough Inn this July for an anniversary celebration trip. I had heard of the recent change of Innkeeper and his renovation projects at the Scarborough. I am happy to say from the moment you walk across the grand porch of this wonderful old Victorian inn and into the lobby, you will instantly breathe a sigh of relief and relaxation lying in store for you. We were greeted by both Sne, the new Innkeeper, and Nicole, assistant Innkeeper, with their warm welcome and flawless check in, and our fantastic time at the Scarborough had begun. My husband and I instantly fed off their positive energy and service and realized that if desired, we were about to make two new friends —-which they have indeed become, due in great part to what Sne has encouraged—-the revival of ‘porch culture’, whereby any guest who so desires may join in a nightly round of fun and entertaining conversation, along with a couple of beverages if you wish. We miss those porch nights already. That being said, you can absolutely stay at the Scarborough and keep completely to yourself if that is what you are looking for. As much as we loved Sne, Nicole, and the rest of the team, ultimately you want a clean comfortable and inviting place to stay. The Scarborough now has it all—-the charm of a beautiful Victorian building with incredible fresh clean updated rooms. Sne has been working very hard and it shows. By the sound of it there are even more great ideas on the horizon with regards to the inn itself but also with fun events to come. A tasty variety of warm and cold breakfast options that you can sit down and enjoy or just grab and go await you each morning. Finally, Sne will point you in any direction you wish to explore and has suggestions for places you didn’t even know you would love dine at or enjoy visiting, in and around the Ocean City area. Well done Sne on all your hard work, passion, and generosity during our stay. Highly recommended and we’ll be back! Two blocks to the beach and boardwalk—-you can’t beat that! Thanks so much for everything!

Great quick getaway in the heart of OC We had the opportunity to go to OC for the day and decided to make it an overnight trip. My wife and I checked in late Sunday afternoon. The staff really makes this place special. Everyone is friendly and treat you as family. We enjoyed the room both in cleanliness and in style. The bathroom and specifically the shower were top notch.The breakfast sandwiches in the morning were very good and perfect when you want to get to the beach of the boardwalk. We will be heading back for a few days in the fall. Highly recommend!

6 Great Days @ OCNJ My wife and I (over 60) stayed at Scarborough for 6 nights in July 2021. Stay was EXCELLENT. Room clean, king bed comfortable, AC worked flawlessly, quiet at night, convenient parking, WONDERFUL breakfast (no need to eat bfast on the boardwalk), close to the beach (8 min walk to the 8th St lifeguard stand), and close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Sne, the owner, is a great guy. Personable and cares a great deal about your stay. Yep, the room is pricey. But did you read my review above? It's worth the $, and if you are looking for a bargain, go stay at the Rip Tide Inn up the street. We usually rent a house for a week. Next time we go back to OCNJ we will just stay at the Scarborough Inn.

Great place to stay Great location, fantastic property, overall great experience. The owner is always there to help. All the key places are within 10 minutes walking distance. Property is updated and the room was extremely comfortable.
