Not too happy in Omaha Historically I've frequented Hampton Inns a lot. normally I'm quite content with the fact that their beds are firm and work for my 245 pound body and everything else generally works well enough. Not this time. Let's take it from the top I always attach a note with my reservation online that says I'm allergic to down and please remove all the down from my room. I get to my room and there are 4 down pillows still on the bed. I take them down to the front desk and try to get foam pillows and They give me a foam pillow and a thing that is not quite qualifies as a pillow it's so sad. The room. Room 147. The controls to the air conditioner on the wall don't work at all. The controls to the air conditioner on the front of the unit itself don't appear to work. The unit is noisy and rattling and it won't turn off. The plug is buried behind the unit so I can't unplug it either. Trying to figure out how I'm going to sleep all night with this noisy machine running like this all night. . Showers OK. Water pressure is a little sad. As I open the shower door to go in the towel handle on the inside of the shower door fell off on the floor. I just left it there. They also charge $15 a night to park. I always hate it when these regular ordinary hotels think their parking lots are that precious. This isn't Manhattan. This is Omaha. You could do better than this here in Omaha.

On site parking costs $15 A clean hotel at $193 yet a bit old in spots but still clean. They had a helpful and happy staff. The large area near check in was used for waiting/visiting with others and in the morning doubled as the breakfast seating. Breakfast typical but gave you a quick snack to get on the road early.

Disappointed I can't seem to find a way to leave these comments on the Hilton website, so will do so here. Hilton Honors member. Stay at Hilton brands regularly. Was at this location during the college World Series. Understandably the rates were higher, but $500+ a night is pretty crazy. But...I paid, and did so because of expectations for nice accommodations. We were in room 330 and it felt like a humid old beach motel. Had the AC pumping just to lower humidity. Bedding was old and tired. Pillows were flatter than one would find in a college dorm. Heck, the shower curtain didn't fit the tub, so after each shower the floor had to be mopped with a towel. This is pretty basic stuff. Maybe we got the dud room. The staff at the hotel was very kind and accommodating, but lord help them if the infrastructure in other rooms are this poor. Giving it a "3" is generous.

Another solid Hampton Inn stay Have stayed here multiple times, this being our second time for the CWS. Very busy so they get a slight pass. Just a couple of little things that made it a 4. Still a nice place but starting to show its age in the rooms. Good breakfast. Majorly easy to get to stadium as it’s right across the street

a great Hampton...clean and convenient to many sites/restaurants clean. easy to find; parking lot outback does cost quite a lot and is not secured... their breakfast was great; rooms clean and spacious. very helpful staff(it seemed the font desk was staffed by just one person the evening we arrived; but none the less, the gentleman was polite, caring, accurate in all he did for us. Check out was equally appreciated too..
