DOGWOOD HILLS GOLF RESORT

"Fantastic Resort" We've stayed at the villas for years enjoying their golf course as well as the good food. We try to get there at least a couple times a year. The service and accommodations were still as wonderful this past year as they were years ago. They've made various improvements over the years and is still a very "top notched resort". We have gone with friends for a "golfing vacation" and also taken our whole family for a "family vacation". Our grandchildren loved it so much our eight year old cried that we had to leave. We truly recommend Dogwood Hills for any age group!

Top notch service! Dogwood Hills Resort Very spacious and clean rooms. Property adjacent to the Dogwood Hills Golf Course. Although the property is older, it is VERY well maintained. The rooms are more solid than some of the newer chain hotels we have stayed in. We stayed in room 421 on 2nd level from entry, but also at ground level right off of pool. The floors and walls are well insulated and don't seem to transmit much sound at all. Newer carpeting and nice paint. Bathrooms have a toilet, sink and shower with another sink in the outer area just outside the shower area. We chose initially because it was pet friendly for our 10 mon old puppy. Since the rooms are adjacent to the golf course, there is plenty of area to walk your dog to do his "business". We kenneled the dog within the room while we were at our wedding rehearsal, wedding and breakfast with no problems at all. The room had no pet "smell" what so ever. We requested no housekeeping due to the kenneled dog. When we returned later, we found fresh towels in a bag on the door without request. VERY nice touch. Later that evening, I went back to check on dog. He had managed to "escape" out of his kennel and as I had the door open, made a beeline outside because he was so happy to see me..... To make a very long story short: Dog escapes, Room doors closes and locked (my fault), Key inside. I had to go In between wedding and reception to office and get another key made. Front desk lady was MORE than helpful.... Oooo'd and Ahhh'd over our dog while making the key.... so very nice and understanding. Although our first reason to pick was because of being pet friendly, we will be back because of excellent customer service, quality of facilities and value. Easily a 5 star rating for me.

Beautiful property, spacious rooms. I stayed in a room with 2 queen-sized beds. There was plenty of space to walk around, enough drawer space for 2 people, and each room has a little patio facing the swimming pool court yard. The grounds have lots of flowers and are spotless. My only complaint is that there is no electrical outlet at the bedside table for charging phones, etc.

Wonderful Resort and Great Staff We stayed in one of the villas with another couple and had plenty of room. It was clean and very comfortable. Just like home! The staff is very courteous and willing to help. Breakfast, and I mean breakfast not just coffee and donut, was a nice touch to be included. It may be an older resort but it has a lot of charm and everything you need plus the golf course is right there. And for us, it was convenient. We will definitely be back!

Nice Property Stayed here on a recent visit to the Lake of the Ozarks. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. hot breakfast was included at the clubhouse across the street. Located near Tan-Tar-A.
