Very Happy! Staff was accommodating and helped get us a 1st floor room next to the exit to the pet area, making life easier for us and our 13 year old dog. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast! And the young lady bringing out hot sausage and eggs was very friendly and had a wonderful (early) morning attitude. Hotel was very quiet. We will stay here again.

Awesome time in SC! Terrific 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. A little dated however very well maintained, aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Tyler at the evening front desk was exceptionally personable and informative. Coffee always hot and delicious and breakfast was yummy.

Disappointed Nice location and friendly staff. Hotel needs a total renovation. Shower valve not working properly. Mattress not comfortable (old and tired). Pillows awful. Room needs upgrade. Seating in breakfast inadequate. Dog had urinated in the elevator.

Not good choice for pet friendly hotel My husband and I stayed here in Mid-March on return trip from Fla. We chose this hotel because they were "pet-friendly". That was a mistake... We did sign a pet policy form and paid a $75.00 fee which we knew about. What we were not told was that the "pet must Never Be Left in the room unattended (you will be called to come back and get pet if he causes a disturbance)". Why would they have to "call you back" if you can't leave in the first place?!! That means you also could not go down for the breakfast they have as part of their "amenities" because that means leaving the pet! None of this makes sense. Why would they call you to come back if you can't leave them in the first place. Also, they give you a sign to hang on the outside of the door to let staff know there is a pet inside. Why do you need the sign when you can never leave your animal unattended!!!! We have stayed at 3 Hilton hotels on this one trip and none of the others had this as part of their policy. We were told each Hampton Inn can make their own policy concerning pets. So the bottom line is if you have a pet go somewhere else or make sure you get a written policy stating all rules before making you're reservation. CEP

Rooms need a makeover! Great staff and location, but rooms desperately need a makeover. HVAC was very noisy and constantly woke us up when it turned on and off. The sliding door that covers the bathroom and closet is a very bad design. It kept sliding open by itself when someone was in the bathroom. There was no way to lock it. I don't recommend this motel.
