Layover May 3rd 2024 I’ve stayed here a few times for work. The room are clean and modern. The staff is friendly & helpful. I use to live in the Phoenix for 18 years before moving out of state. It’s in a great area with plenty of restaurants & activities close by. .

Nice but beware. I am here as a judge for a biomedical conference in Phoenix. As an academic, I travel regularly for conferences and research and have stayed at many hotels the world over. While this property is nice, well located (whole foods and Trader Joe’s within a few steps), the housekeeping service is terrible and nonexistent. I have been here for 6 days and only had my room made up once. I will not be doing business with this hotel again for the 30 plus employees we housed here for almost a week.

Dirty bathroom, "missing" items, unprofessional staff Room was not fully cleaned, bathroom smelled like urine and feces so it had clearly not been fully cleaned. Room was fine. After checking out, I realized I lost my luggage and called the staff who said they would reach out to me if they found it or NOT. After waiting a week, I went to the location to follow-up since they had not followed-up. The staff LIED and said my room was found empty when it was not empty. When I explained this to them, the staff became rude and escalated the situation unnecessarily (stormed off during conversation, said I was a liar/forgetful). Once I said I would call corporate for their behavior, they became upset and called the cops... whole situation was handled unprofessionally. I had stayed at many 2-star hotels with much better service and professionalism than this. Make sure to NOT leave your belongings in their rooms because it will get taken. It may or may not have been my luggage, but my other unreported items have essentially been stolen. THEN after my stay, a staff member tried to charge my account for 10 dollars 3 times, all declined by my bank. Not sure what is going on with this hotel and staff but I will NEVER stay here again based on weird their behavior. They will lie to cover their tracks and not be liable as a hotel, and then treat you like a criminal. Disappointed...

World Class Caring Customer Service from Miss Thomas Outstanding customer service! I had called Sonesta Select on Camelback the night before my arrival and had the pleasure of briefly speaking with Nakayla Thomas. She was so very pleasant to listen to my requests and noted my booking that her team would do all possible to accommodate my late arrival and balcony request. The next day I managed to catch an earlier flight and had the pleasure of meeting Nakayla Thomas at the front desk as my check-in agent. She is so professional, knowledgeable, friendly and clearly enjoys her position and helping others. It was such a rare treat to experience such incredible, kind, caring customer service these days. Even though the hotel was full to capacity, Miss Thomas found an excellent room for me on the ground floor that ended up having a beautiful rock and cactus garden right outside my sliding glass door with a little but comfortable seating area - it was perfect! Miss Thomas's attitude and genuine customer service set the tone for a wonderful stay! - Please convey my heartfelt thanks to her, the world needs more people like Nakayla Thomas! Best regards, Steven Frazee

Thin walls not good for light sleeper Very basic hotel with very thin walls and doors. Well actually the doors have a large crack at the bottom so that’s why I could hear everything in the hallway. Your neighbors? You can hear them too. Fine for a quick stay and nice that it has a pool and it’s in a parking lot with restaurants and shopping! But it can be challenging to get a good nights sleep here if you’re a light sleeper. Staff was very friendly though!
