The views!!! Great view from your balcony! Being able to step out and watch the sunset or sunrise is amazing. The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff upfront was very nice and friendly. You can have the option to walk down to the beach with access less than a half mile down the walkway. Great place!

For the cost. I expected more. For the cost of the room, I expected more. The view was great. The rooms needed updating, lots of noise from people walking in room above us. Restaurant and Jacuzzi were closed. Room was dimly lit. Overall. I'm likely to choose different accommodations next time.

Lovely Place and Location Loved the Private Bedroom and Terrific View! Refrigerator, coffee machine, two large screen televisions. Parked right next to my room. Staff very friendly. complimentary fruit in the office. The only thing that bothered me was that the original Spyglass Restaurant is now been closed since November.

Accessible ocean front stay Beautiful gardens and good outdoor accessible paths to see cliffs and ocean. Gas Fireplaces outside a plus. No elevator, many rooms without ocean view. Paths lead to other views, hotels and dining options. Room large and comfortable, clean hot tub.

Great location - but that's it. The rooms lacked functionality despite being spacious and offering scenic views. There were not enough hooks for towels or places to store clothing. Drawer space was minimal, the closet had very few hangers, and some of the furniture was noticeably worn. Screens were broken, and we even found sticky, chewy substances on the ceiling and curtains—definitely not what you’d expect at this price point. Be aware that there is no housekeeping during your stay, no breakfast included, and parking now incurs an additional fee (as of January). While basic WiFi is free, you’ll need to pay extra for faster service. Even the bottled water in the room is $5, and a basic s’mores kit runs $15. Considering the already higher nightly rates compared to similar properties, it really starts to feel like you’re being nickel-and-dimed. To top it off, we started receiving check-out reminders every 15 minutes beginning at 9:00 am—even though check-out isn’t until 11:00. This felt intrusive and unwelcoming. While the property is part of the Pacifica Hotels Group, the overall guest experience and service level didn’t align with our expectations based on stays at other Pacifica properties. Unfortunately, our stay was also disrupted by loud, partying guests, which impacted our ability to relax.
