Not the picture I seen We stayed the weekend of Oct 6-8 in room 115 and it was awful. Dead bugs that looked like roaches by the AC. Room had a smell, the remote was dirty and sticky, the bathroom shower was filthy and the room was in general just nasty. Not what the picture showed. The day we left we left early due to the smell of cigarettes coming from outside through the door which had a good size gap. The phone was yellowed that use to be white candy instead of a pen and paper we got half a pencil and scratch paper. For what I paid we should not have dealt with this. It did no good complaining because the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. Will not go back. Plenty of advertising at the Pitt State football game, take that money and put it back into the hotel/motel.

Could be a destination retro motor hotel with some love! This older “2” star motel could have a great Route 66 motor hotel feel, location is excellent and layout wonderful. It does have the amenities listed, just barely at the 2 star level. I wish Anthony Melchiori of Hotel Impossible would come and help them. Our nonsmoking king room had a decent king bed with soft and clean bedding, the nice leather recliner but smelled strongly of smoke and mildew. Saw the housekeeping staff working away with effort but not trained to really clean hotel rooms. The carpeted floor was stained and tiled bath, baseboards and walls were filthy. Black mold on the bathroom faucet and corners of tub and tile. Phone, pictures and other surface dusty and gross. A/C rattled loudly. Electricity dangerous using power strips! The pool could use a lot of love, peeling paint, cracked concrete, dirty ring at water level, cloudy water, guests were using the net to clean it, some of rails on steps are loose and quite dangerous. Dried vomit was on the pool deck our whole stay. Only staff to acknowledge us were at check in. This could be a 3-4 star destination hotel with some care and pride . Breakfast fair but plentiful, again the facility is dated but has wonderful gathering places and so much potential.

Perfect location, mostly great employees, just needed a few changes to make the experience better. My husband and I were in town for a 3 day event with our motorcycle club. Hotel is definitely outdated and needs some work but was clean! The property had plenty of areas inside and out for our large group to gather. All the employees did an amazing job with keeping up with all of us and our mess! We loved the breakfast lady and bartenders! Housekeepers were helpful and very friendly! The property does need some landscaping help but maintenance kept the property cleaned up. All but one of the front desk ladies were helpful and the manager was very unfriendly and rude! We all enjoyed our stay and hopefully management will change and be more welcoming to have us back!

Needs TLC We stayed here 3 nights for a bike rally, the hotel was filled to capacity with our group. We enjoyed the pool and the spacious area out back to gather. However, the property needs updated badly! Also, the manager was not friendly to our group and was overheard saying she hoped we didn’t come back. Pro: Housekeepers work hard! And the bar staff did a great job of keeping us happy!

Terrible management! Upon check-in, I booked a double instead of a king and ended up with a king. The manager said “ If you don’t like the room then you can go somewhere else. But good luck because everyone is booked.” Terrible management!
