Breakfast with a smile! We spent 5 pleasant nights at the Strawberry House B & B in Plant City, FL. It was a perfect location for exploring the downtown area on foot. It is located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. We stayed in the large Henry B. Plant room on the first floor. The hostess, Maria, was friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious and filling! She went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and well-taken-care-of during our stay. Maria is delightful! Although the Henry B. Plant room is spacious and comfortable, the compressor that runs the air conditioning for the entire house is located right outside the windows. It made quite a bit of noise when it came on during the night. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available all day long. However, if you like real cream in your coffee, bring your own and store it in the fridge in your room. If you want to feel like a guest in someone's home as opposed to the impersonal feel of a chain hotel, I recommend you check out the Strawberry House. Bring your appetite...Maria's breakfasts will keep you fueled all morning long and her positive, sunny disposition will keep you smiling throughout your stay!

Great B&B! Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere, house and front porch. A lot of historical artifacts for Strawberry Festival and railroad brought there by Henry Plant. Very delightful was Maria, the host. Her warm personality and caring touches made it an outstanding stay.

Strawberry fest romantic getaway Maria was an excellent host, and the house was beautiful as well. We stayed in the large room downstairs. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We came for the strawberry fest but will definitely come back again for a romantic getaway. This place is really special. I highly recommend staying at this gem.

Warm, welcoming and nicely decorated but maintanence needed Although we arrived later than expected due to weather, we were graciously and warmly greeted by out host, Maria, We had bookedrthe Western room, but were offered the Henry Plant room instead. It was nicely decorated with an updated bath and very comfortatble. The room was spotlessly clean, and the linens fresh and of high quality.The home is very cozy and nicely decorated. Maria is warm and welcoming, and served a very nice breakfast. She is so kind and engaging- it was like visiting with an old friend. This would be a 5 star property if the owners would pay the same attention to maintanence as to decorating. The exterior of the home is badly in need of TLC. Water pressure was poor and no hot water in the am for showering was a real disappointment. Note to owners: Show your property the same love Maria shows the guests and you will have a 5 star property.

Great Place to feel at home My husband and I stayed at the Strawberry House for the 1st time this weekend and we have nothing but good things to say. The house was so clean and charming. Maria is just precious! So friendly and welcoming! Made us feel right at "home". We stayed in the "Strawberry Room". The accommodations were very nice. Maria prepared a yummy breakfast and was very pleasant to visit with. Definitely will stay here again!
