Grand children Alec and angel are super at the front desk they are helpful, courteous and very pleasant to talk to. Staff is wonderful and the free breakfasts were plentiful. Bag and run for now but plenty of food to Grab and run. Airport shuttle always there when you need it

What I Needed! Staff and accommodations were exactly what I expected. Fair price, clean property, and professional staff. I came in to the Motor City last Monday, on business. The hotel is 5mn from the Delta terminal. I was very satisfied & I'll be back again.

Lots of Room for Improvement I stayed here for one night after a Red Wings game while on my way south. It was an OK place for the night, but there is lots of room for improvement. I was late to arrive, the staff member at reception was very friendly, personable, and offered me a free bottle of water on arrival. The exterior of the property was clean and appeared well maintained. The interior was also clean and appeared well maintained. My room was on the third floor. The light system in the room took some getting used to, you have to keep your key a receptacle near the door to turn the lights on for the entire room. I could not find the switch for a couple of lights, so I had to take the card out and turn all the lights off before going to bed. However, the restroom light will not work unless the card is in. So, in a completely dark and unfamiliar room, and needing to use the restroom, I had to stumble my way through the dark to get to the door, put the card back in, turn all the lights back on, just so I could use the restroom. That being said, some instructions on the lights would be helpful on arrival or at least put a flashlight in the room. When I inspected the room on arrival, I noted a large amount of damage to the room. The headboard was shredded, there were large divets in the shower floor, and the tissue paper dispenser was water damaged (particle board that got wet, bloated, and is now flaking apart). Worried I would get billed for the damage, I reported it to the front desk. They seem to be aware of the issues in the room and assured me I would not be liable. However, I wonder why they would sell a room in that shape? Are the others worse or was the occupancy so high that they had to put me in the room? The room was clean and well stocked with the usual items. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFI was fast. The hotel is very noisy - which I expect from a hotel near the airport. However, the noise of planes was barely audible in the room. The walls and floors of this hotel are very, very thin as I discovered at about 1 am when I heard the person in the room above me get up, walked around, use the toilet, and take a shower. The sound of running water was so loud it was like being in a tent during a heavy downpour! This resulted in a very poor sleep for me, especially when the sounds of other guests getting up started to fill my room around 5 am. In summation, friendly and clean is juxtaposed against heavy noise and poor maintenance.

Sparkling The lobby was immaculate the front desk staff is amazing. The happy hour 6pm -8 pm on beer and wine is inexpensive. No noise and very clean. Just off the freeway and access to metro airport and all rental cars. Great place

Always good park and fly We have stayed at this hotel using their park and fly pkg before but it has been years. As before, the hotel is clean, suites are big, breakfast good and the park and fly lot they use is secure with immediate shuttles to the airport. I never worry leaving my car while I am gone and would book the hotel again.
