Comfortable and Well Priced Customer service at check-in was nice and informative. The room was well appointed and clean. The construction at the location really wasn't a burden. The takeaway (due to Covid) Continental breakfast was good. Need better signage to enter the property since it sits behind a shopping mall next to the 5 Frwy southbound entrance. There is only one sign indicating where to enter the shopping center but none directing you to the hotel after entering the lot.

Overpriced and worst hotel we stayed at in California We did a month-long road trip around the Western states and this was by far the worst place we stayed for the most money. A bug ran across our table (too fast for me to see what it was, but the speed tells you something); the reception was unfriendly once you found it through the maze of construction; the pool was tiny; and we listened to the roar of traffic all night since they gave us a room right next to Interstate 5. So we paid nearly $300 for a terrible night of sleep and a crappy experience. Compare that to the lovely one-bedroom chalet at Mount Shasta for $260 and this was a horrible value.

Nice place to stay, but difficult booked through 3rd party Overall, a nice property and surrounded by good service and dining options. Convenient to downtown and to the American River Parkway and Discovery Park. The bedrooms are adequate for convenience also a bit sterile. The biggest issue is booking through Expedia - if you leave early, there is no refund of the unused portion of the stay. That was two rooms and two nights unused - over $400. Travel plans change these days and I find this policy to not be in good customer service that I would expect of a Marriott. Lord knows I get nearly daily calls from them for vacation stays...

spacious two bedroom and pet friendly! For roughly $150 we had a nicely appointed two bedroom place. Each closed off bedroom has a queen bed, private bath and TV. The shared living room provides a sleeper sofa (nice -so now I don't have to share a bed with Oma LOL) TV, kitchen and fireplace. We picked this place because it's pet friendly. Plenty of open space to run my dog, restaurants a block away and we couldn't be more comfy and happy.

On hold with reservation line for 18 minutes Never got past the reservation line. Disappointed there wasn’t more info in their pet policies. After being on hold for over 18 minutes we find out they limit pet size to 40#. Would have been nice to have that info in the web site.
