La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salina

Pool looks quite old, and the shower leaks. When we arrived, the rooms were quite small but it was the least of concerns. We checked out the pool, it looked a little old. It was fine though. The problem was when I took a shower after swimming. When I was showering, I thought nothing much would happen, but when I get out the shower, the entire bathroom floor was very wet. When I mopped the water, I had found out the water was leaking into the hallway. The shower water was literally flooding into the hallway. Good to say I might not come back.

Excellent hotel We stopped at this LaQuinta on our long road trip and it was the perfect place for our night. We needed a suite and they had one that was reasonably priced. It was nice, clean, and quiet. We all got a great rest before continuing on our journey.

Terrible hotel…Stay away…. Bed bugs This was the worse hotel I have stayed in: 1. There were bed bugs in both beds. (I have reported this to the county health department). 2. Mold around the shower drain. 3. Repair work around the shower drain was shoddy. 4. There were cigarette butts in the closet. (This is supposed to be a non-smoking room). 5. The floor was dirty. 6. We had to request sheets for tv stations and local Resturant’s. 7. The molding around the floor and bathroom was broken …. It was just shabby. 8. I was charged the usual $50 for extra purchases when we arrived. (That is expected in any hotel). When I noted the bed bugs and other issues to the front desk (female at 9:30 May 3) she stated “Well you didn’t book through us so there is nothing I can do.” I stated “ we stayed in your companies hotel and you have my credit card on file so you can refund the cost of our room on that card.” She stated “there is nothing I can do, you booked through a 3rd source. You should have called us.” I explained “ I tried calling the hotel directly but was always sent to a reservation desk.” She stated “well, you should have called www. Laqunitahotels.com to reserve directly with us.” I asked “how many visitors to this hotel know that is the way to make a reservation?” She stated “ there is nothing I can do” and turned to speak with another staff person completely dismissing me. 9 The desk person nor any other person even offered an apology for the dirty/poor room. I will never stay in another La Quinta hotel and encourage friends and fellow professionals to stay away from you companies hotels

Scam Flexible Rate Do not stay here! I’ve been staying for years on my regular road trip. The first time I cancelled I did so within the policy time frame. I have the confirmation email. But they say I only cancelled half the reservation. I don’t even know how I could’ve done that. After making me call three times, they just said it was all my fault and refused to budge
