Motel 6 San Marcos, TX - North

Disgusting The room was dirty just plain dirty, when the ice bucket was moved there was a part of someones hair piece, absolutely disgusting Obviously the cleaners hadn’t moved the bucket to clean. I had to wipe down all the counters and surfaces with disinfectant wipes and lysol and the wipes were filthy afterwards. The vent in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling, the shower was full of mold. The gentleman at the front desk at check in was nice however he went off shift shortly after check in. I tried calling the front desk that night and no answer. Upon check out there was nobody at the front desk. I waited for a bit and still nobody showed up. I left a note and the room key and left. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there, the place needs a thorough clean and update.

Bad The room had moldy smell as soon as I opened the door, bathroom floor trim falling off, mold behind it, mold on bathroom counter,ac not cooling good, no breakfast, not even coffee...nobody evenbinbofficecwhen I checked out..but I suppose you get what you pay for..Room is supposed to be updated..sorty crappy! One towel even had big black spot onbtowel looked liked someone wipedctheir hand on it then folded and stuffed in cubby...WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!!

Sir Terrible service! Ra... el is the most worthless employee ever! Very unfriendly and completely oblivious! I will never ever stay addy another 'POS 6!' EVER!!! Apparently, didn't understand about filthy rooms and is completely ignorant to customer service! I hope the manager R..s had a better answer!

Don’t stay here! Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money of a different hotel. The photos are very deceitful! We thought we were booking a nice hotel by looking at the pictures, boy we were shocked when we pulled in! Rough looking crowd in the parking lot and very small parking lot as well. The lady at check in was rude. Quickly dropped stuff in room and went to eat, came back at 10 pm and there were only 2 parking spots left, have no clue what they do when there’s nowhere left to park. Have you park on the feeder of the freeway? Can’t park next door at the apartments & you can’t park at the gas station on the other side either. The pool is out of order, in the middle of summer! The room is ok, but the tv is smashed and they left it hanging up smashed and just put a new one in front of it. The door trim is hanging off which leaves a big 1 inch gap to outside. The mini fridge is hot and last but definitely not least, the soap in the shower was used!!! I picked it up and noticed a pubic hair on it then went to open it and it was already open. Pull the soap out and you can clearly tell it was used! What kind of hotel is so sleezy and cheap that they expect you to use soap that has been on a total strangers body, including their privates. Totally unacceptable!!!

Worth the price Best price. I have stayed for a week. Room was clean. Friendly staff. Always willing to help. The rooms are renovated. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Overall, it was a nice stay. They also provided free WiFi which I didn’t had to use. The location is perfect.
