Econo Lodge Horrible dirty, rooms smell terrible. I didn't stay after I asked to look in one of the rooms. Very old and very unsuitable for family. Looks nothing like the phots on line that are associated with the Sanford Econo Lodge. Very disappointed.

Non smoking room was Smokey! The price was cheap! I just needed one night and thankfully I didn’t need to stay more. I had a non-smoking room but still smelled like smoke. I bought air freshener, helped a little but when I got home, all my belongings smelled like smoke. The room was clean and some had been updated. The faucet in the bath dripped all night. Fridge wasn’t very cold. The bathroom needs updating.

Stay at the Econo Lodge Hotel February 2024 So....overall the room was clean. We were brought fresh towels everyday. You would need a car to get around as your kind of out of the way. I would suggest brining hangers as there were none in our room, I asked for some at the front desk and housekeeping and was advised that they did not have any. The breakfast was pretty much non-existent, so don't count on that for your mornings. We had to go out everyday for breakfast. The beds were pretty good, pillows were terrible. Cable tv was good. Felt fairly safe, but our neighbors next door were pretty loud. Housekeeping was pretty friendly. I'm not sure I would stay there again, but if was in a pinch and had to it would be okay. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for and this holds true for this motel. Sanford itself was good, met a lot of super nice people and had some great food.

Beware of scam callers from here I received a call stating that the Econo lodge from Sanford NC over charged me a night and that they needed my card for the refund. I gave them my card number they had my address and then charged my card 75.00 to fly pay twice and cash app 125.00 to someone and then google and square app but it said 0.00, thank goodness my bank recognizes fraud charges and notified me...

You get what you pay for, and customer service is inconsistent Room seemed clean, but had odor of stale cigarette smoke, or something similar. Some of the front desk staff are good....others not so. I left two shirts in the room, called back when I realized it, but two weeks later. When I told her it was two weeks back, she said they only hold things for one week. She said she wouldn't know anyway, and the housekeeper kept the lost and found. I asked her to check, and I could call back later in the day. She said again they only hold for one week...and hung up on me! Also, not to be discriminatory, but their accents are extremely heavy and difficult to understand, especially over the phone. Another problem, is that they don't send out confirmations or give confirmation numbers, so that could potentially be a problem if something happened on their end, and they could not find your reservation. So, buyer beware!
