Adult only hot tub is dangerous Visited your Pocono, PA location this weekend with our 17 year old daughter and her friend. Thought this was finally a trip where we could enjoy the “adult only” hot tub area as we could let the girls have fun without a parent hovering over them. We were wrong. Although lifeguards regularly walked through the hot tub area to get to the employee only part of the building, no one enforced the “adult only” rule. While having a bunch of splashing young teenagers in the hot tub was annoying, the number of really young kids (4-8) which parent let into the water while they turned their backs and drank a lot of alcohol was quite scary. There was no lifeguard and literally NOONE watching these very young kids who often slipped out of sight beneath the bubbles without anyone noticing. We could not relax in this area at all and had to leave after a short while both days as we feared we might witness the death of a child. Shame on those parents, but sham on GW too for letting this happen. Someone is going to die if GW does not enforce its adult only rule in this area! There were also issues with the food ordering kiosks each time we used them and there were not enough tubes for the slides (especially double tubes) but those issues seemed minor when we thought what could have happened in the hot tub area.

Best staff ever Arcade Keith S. Is the best employee I’ve ever met. I could go on and on about how great this trip has been but instead I want to bring attention to him. On our first night in the arcade, I had my first encounter with Kieth. The monster kart racing machine steering wheel had come off. I found Keith and he was a genuine and funny guy who fixed it immediately better than when I first saw it. All was well until the next night when I Accidentally dropped my son’s birthday card that we had and Someone else had stolen it. But Keith managed to find my card digitally, lock the stolen card and re issue the card with my credits and tickets intact. Keith is seriously the best. I can’t not thank him enough. I also would like to compliment and give recognition to the kitchen staff. Every single one I encountered has been friendly and accommodating. My son has an allergy and every time we’ve encounter food they made sure he was well taken care of. Chef Nick in particular went out of his way to accommodate him with an allergy free cake. Overall the staff is what makes this place special. Every single person has been the absolute best and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

School break You know what? I had a good stay. Took my 2 youngest during school break, arrived around 4PM, checked in at the kiosk, got our bracelets, room number and went to our room. Yes, parking is $20/night, but one would expect that there would be an overnight parking fee. The slides were fun and we did not wait an enormous amount of time in line (we did wait though). The only thing I would say seats get taken quickly so you may need to look around for some. We were lucky enough to get our 3 seats both days we were at the park. Kids also enjoyed the arcade area and were able to get 3 large plushies there (with the points but also at the claw machine). Although hotel was pretty full, we did not hear noise from hallway or neighbors. Fireside food was good, the bartender made a mean Mexican Mule.

Cameron is an amazing customer service agent I must say, we have been to this place a few times and it is great but we recently had a hard time with them honoring a discount we were offered. Cameron, finally came through with exceptional customer service after many “accidental hang ups” from other customer representatives. We owe him everything for being such an amazing person helping us out with our issues! I wish all agents would have been as honest and sincere as him.

Family Fun!! We have been visiting great Wolf Lodge for years with our twin daughters. They are now 11 but we’ve been coming since they are two years old and they refused to go anywhere else!!! We offered to take them to Camelback and others, But they love Great Wolf Lodge, and we do too!! We truly appreciate the veterans discount that we receive for my husband’s service in the Navy! The staff is always pleasant and accommodating… The rooms are fun for the kids… The food is good, especially the breakfast buffet! We just checked in this morning and are enjoying our cabana by the slides!! Thank you to the manager, Maddie, who helped us get all checked in today and settled!!! Above & beyond service!!
