Could be better First: the staff is AMAZING- super friendly, accommodating to every ask and very polite. Second: the hotel rooms and the pool area need to be cleaned better. The hotel room walk-in shower did not have a curtain and there was visible mold. The shower head shot at the ceiling forcing you to need to hold it to take a complete shower. The pool had a bunch of hair floating around before the water slide was turned on. My little girl pointed this out…super great. The stairs leading to the water slide had questionable substances including a used band-aid. The floor needs a good pressure washing to clear the green slime that has accumulated. This is embarrassing, do better. Again, wonderful front counter staff though.

Watch out for Cockroaches First room we got, 113, smelled like a very old wet basement, went to desk and demanded a different room so he moved us to room 205, way better. Had 2 cockroaches in the bathroom that made the bedtime uncomfortable, weren't sure if there were more. Breakfast was so low budget, I just had orange juice and that was bad, couldn't wait to stop at kwik trip for a fresh donut Location was great to go to Canterbury Park but we would not stay here again

Don't waste your time with this dive may 21, 2024 Shakopee MN near Canterbury Park I was traveling alone to attend my brother's funeral and thought since this hotel was affiliated with Wyndham it would be good.I think it had 4 stars listed on hotwire. No way, this place was unacceptable and I would not recommend it. The first room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke. I'm sure I booked non-smoking as I am allergic. The next room looked and smelled better but there were so many things wrong. The bathtub had black marks in it. The bathtub faucet was dripping and not completely sealed into the tub wall. The shower head did not look like it had been cleaned anytime recently. The carpet was torn next to the bathroom door and had several large stains in several places. Lighting at the vanity was not sufficient enough for putting on make-up. The remote control only had about 5 buttons and no directions on how to use it. Couldn't watch TV. The "morning breakfast" did not look appealing at all. Eggs and some kind of meat looked dry like it had been sitting there for a while. The bagels were clearly not fresh. I put one in the toaster thinking that would help but no. There were a couple of pastries cut in half that were also not fresh. There was no water to drink. The metal plate on the bottom of the door to the breakfast area was filthy like it hadn't been wiped off in a very long time. My only recommendation is to remove the affiliation with Wyndham because they are a higher class of hotel and gives Wyndham a bad name. I took pictures of everything I mentioned in this complaint. I will also be forwarding this to Hotwire where I made the reservation and Wyndham.

Stay anywhere else! I had to file a police report after my stay! Someone who works for the property let themselves into my room at 1am claiming they were there to clean. Story changed next morning to bringing towels and got rhe wrong room. Worst night sleep of my life and all I got was, "sorry for the mistake."
