Good stay We stayed at this hotel from May 28 to 29 in room 314. The WiFi and TV worked properly. The shower pressure was rather low. You cannot completely darken the windows. The welcome was warm and personal. Refreshments and drinks were offered by the hotel between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The breakfast had hot and cold items. The toaster needs to be replaced.

This Hotel Wins in it's Price Class in this Area Hands Down! This week I stayed in 4 hotel brands (Comfort Inn & Suites, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites) between June 17 and 21st when there was an extreme heat wave across the Midwest and Northeast. I seek 3 things from brands of this price class, a decent room, a decent sleep, and a decent breakfast. This Comfort Inn was the only one that nailed all 3. I stayed there first and experienced friendly and helpful staff, good amenities, cleanliness and for the most part, comfort. I say that last part because the humidity was so high, that while the room was a good temperature, I still felt a bit sticky from the humidity. This was night unique to my room but it certainly reduced the comfort of sleeping. Overall, I still got a pretty good sleep and a great breakfast to go along with the happy hour snacks and drinks the night before. I next traveled with a friend to Fairfield Inn in Canton Ohio. Everything seemed to be going good here as well until we tried to eat breakfast in the morning only to find they didn't have much (sausage, juice/coffee, English muffins). Supposedly, their truck didn't arrive with their other supplies. Next, we traveled to Hampton Inn in Utica NY. Again, everything seemed great until we went to bed. The window had a white shade but no curtains. Once lights were out, the window glowed from exterior lights like a giant TV screen leading to a very restless night. So, they also failed on one of my 3 key criteria. Next, we traveled back to the Cleveland Ohio area (Beachwood) where we stayed at an Embassy Suites. We checked in about 8:30pm. They checked our confirmed reservation for a room with two queen beds then gave us the keys. It had 1 king bed. I returned to the desk where a management like person consulted with the desk clerk, checked and rechecked the computer and various papers they had. She left with a room key, came back a while later, they consulted some more then told me my room was ready and that they thought we would like it very much. It turned out to be a wheelchair accessible room where there was a zero-entry shower, no counter space in the bathroom and a tile job that my friend said was the worse he's seen (he spent his career selling and helping install such product). When we took our showers in the morning, water ran across the floor which is where some stuff was set because there was no counter space in the bathroom. So, they too failed at one of my criteria. We returned to Springfield where I had to reserve a final hotel before I headed home from my trip. It was a no brainer, Comfort Inn and Suites got my vote hands down. I had a great stay in a very nice room (it wasn't as humid this time), a good sleep and a great meal in the morning. I used the fitness center and felt great for my solo trip home. I've stayed at this Comfort Inn before, with my wife to visit relatives in the area and with her and my grandkids to see the Lincoln sights. I've also stayed at other hotel brands in the area for visiting, funerals, etc. I keep coming back to this hotel because it's the best we've found in this area in this price class.

Must request clean-up service for multi day stay. Bed was comfortable. Staff nice. However—warning!!!! If you are staying for more than one night You MUST request that your room be cleaned, beds made, and towels changed. You must also request that your room phone be turned on. It was a shock to return to our room yo find nothing had been done!

Clean and Comfortable Stayed two nights in a king room that was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some of the lamps could use replacing but they all worked. Did not have the breakfast but it looked like it was well supplied with the usual continental fare.

Decent for one night, bugs need to be addressed at this location Decent hotel and beds are comfy, Pull out couch was not comfortable at all but it was only for a night for our kids. My only complaint is the BUGS. Walking in we noticed a stink bug on the wall and i brought it to the front desks attention but she seemed to brush it off and continue checking us in. In our room at night we found a stink bug on my bed and TWO crickets on the night stand. We get it, bugs happen but its ironic that they are next to ORKIN pest control. Breakfast is mediocre, best part is the waffles!
