Motel 6 Saint Paul, MN - I-94

Stay away from here. Service is horrible if the rooms dont kill you first We checked into the hotel and when we got there the kid working the front I think his name was Mykal. We got there at about 145pm and when we said we were there to check in he was pissed off and complained we were there early. We did get checked in but honestly it was because another couple walked in. We got to the room and it was horrible. Cracks all over the sink, cable (yes cable) was coming out of the wall and I tripped over it slamming my face into the floor. Paint chipping and missing. Holes in the wall. Called corporate to tell them about how bad it was and my family and I left for a couple hours. When we came back we were told we needed to leave. So we checked out and asked for a refund. Not checked in more than a couple hours. Days later and the money wasnt returned. I call in asking to talk to management and talk to someone with a name similar to Palan. Asked for an owner's name and phone number and told no. I asked for management and was told no. I asked why no refund and he says that I stayed the whole night and he remembered me. When I told him I have witnesses that can show we were checked out he then fixed his story and said we checked out. And then proceeded to refuse to give me contact info for an owner or manager because this was serious. I am telling everyone stay away from this place. Corporate needs to shut it down.

This *may* be the worst place I have ever stayed I don't usually do negative reviews, but I would be remiss if I didn't put a warning out there on this property. Plusses - the front desk gentleman that checked us in was pleasant. There is on site security, and he was very nice. We had noise issues and he made a couple rounds down our hall overnight to try to help (didn't work, but he tried...) Minuses - The public areas and hallways smelled like weed, and in the morning there was cigarette smell coming I to our room from somewhere... next door or the hall? Not sure. It was noisy in the hallway until 3am, despite the security guard periodically walking through and asking people to quiet down. In the middle of the night, there was a bug in our bathroom that I am 90% sure was a roach. I killed it and left it with the front desk on checkout, and he was apologetic but didn't seem surprised. The floor was dirty, the bathtub was stained, and the sheets/blankets had a few random cigarette burn holes in them. At checkout, I was offered a discount for next time, but we will not be back. This place would probably be fine for someone traveling alone and looking for a cheap place to crash for a night who is ok with a queationable property (which, alone, I would be more forgiving of), but would not recommend for families or anyone who isn't ok with total sketch.

Excellent Great mangers my room nice clean let me have my bull terrier dog there and yes it's Oct 1st 2023 the place gets 10 stars I will be back little weed smell did not see no meth head's safe for everyone great staff from top to bottom thank you Rick f

Awesome complete 360* change It’s close to a major freeway with lots of food places around at a walking distance very safe and clean this place has changed 360 degree. Great Staff the management team at the hotel is great every one is committed to help the guests… that’s excellent keep it up

Be aware All employees are very unprofessional, illegal drug activities happening right at the front desk. They are very rude and make guests feel uncomfortable. The manager needs to go ASAP. The worse hotel experience of my life. Very unsafe place.
