Red Roof Inn Suffolk

95 percent loved it. the view was excellent. will definitely be back. things i loved were the location of our room and the hotel. we had a great view of the river. we stayed 4 days and over all our experience was great. everyone was very friendly. and they were very helpful. beds and pillows were comfy and clean. bathroom was clean except not swept behind the door. we loved to take the dog walking by the river. it would be nice to have bench or chairs down there because it is a very pleasant spot. it is definitely a budget hotel so if you are looking to be catered to this is not the place for you. if you like a decent price and a pleasant no frills stay this is for you. i never saw any housekeepers and went to the desk to ask for tp ,towels etc. our room did look as tho it had been cleaned but things like corners were not swept and the microwave and fridge were not dusted but it was spotless on the inside. sort of like if you could not see it, well ,it half way got clean, like behind the door. would i stay again? oh yes it was not bad enough to not stay in just a few things overlooked.

Still hurting Still suffering after the shower rail fell on my head. Yes. it’s laughable and sounds as though it’s a clip from a Laurel and Hardy movie. Unfortunately my head is still throbbing and this is a whole day later. When reported to the ‘Manager’ and asked to change rooms I was sworn at and told “No you can’t move rooms” and of course no apology was forthcoming. As for the cleanliness of the hotel: non existent. Filthy stairway, filthy floor in our room, filthy window and as for the bathtub, it was a disgrace. We had booked for six nights, needless to say one was more than enough so we moved across the road to the fabulous Hilton not costing a whole lot more. Would I return to the Red Roof Inn, don’t be silly.

A Nightmare This scruffy establishment has a manager with attitude, no signs of housekeeping, absence of soundproofing and a booby trapped bathroom. Raising osiers with the ‘manager’ produced an abusive response with liberal use of the “F” word. An innocent potential customer received similar stream of poor language Taking the matter up with guest relations demonstrated a similar lack of concern or guest care. Our remaining question is to litigate or not! Please drive on by b

This place SUCKS! Only reason I stayed because was supposedly remodeled in March of 2023. I couldn’t imagine what it looked like before. Walked in room and smelled just like smoke. Smoke alarm was beeping. No trash cans. Hair all in the bathroom. Toilet was disgusting. Sink was very loose. Phone looked like somebody throwed up on it. Very very nasty place. Never again for the Red Roof inn. I understand it’s old but not hard to clean up. Need to fire all the cleaning people. They even had a envelope asking for a tip. __ I got a tip for you clean these nasty rooms.

Terrible stay out of this place There are bed bugs all over the beds. I was not able to get any sleep. I went down to the lobby the management said " your arm is dry out lotion on it. We don't have bugs" went back to the room and grabe a few bed bug off the bes and went and smashed them into the glass. They didn't want to give me another room or money back. I have pictures and video of the bugs and encaunter of the rood management
