Stonefield Castle lived up to all our expectations and then some; great staff! Wonderful experience. Check in staff was awesome. Property was as advertised. Really enjoyed walk around property. The bar and sitting rooms were very welcoming. Bar and dinner were exceptional. Food was excellent second only to the service. Entire staff seemed genuinely grateful for our visit and provided exceptional service.

Wonderful Place with Great Views! This place is amazing! The history & the great views! It’s also very quiet with onsite bar & restaurant. The staff are very helpful & nice. The front desk staff went above & beyond to offer us a sack lunch when our travel plans made us leave really early in the morning. The restaurant staff & bartender were also very pleasant. I just wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Good Customer Service We had a one night stay in a Principal Room in the original part of the Hotel. The room was very large with a King sized bed and an expansive ensuite. It also had a separate TV Room but unfortunately the TV wasn't connected so not of any use. The bed was extremely comfortable and a pleasant deep sleep was experienced. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well enough with attentive waiting staff ensuring all was replenished as required. The Castle has large grounds which can be easily walked and the views are lovely from all various vantage points. My wife accidently left her hand bag behind in the room, which House Keeping found, and the Hotel promptly contacted me to notify me of this error and offered to post this back to us. The Hotel held onto this item until we made our return journey.

Wonderful place to stay! Monica and the team at Stonefield Castle provided us with a warm, friendly place to stay after exhausting days exploring the fabulous Kintyre peninsula and Hebridean islands. Nothing was too much trouble. The decor and grounds are beautiful, the views from the castle are stunning, and the hotel is clean, serving good food.
