Business stay In this room, the towels were stained, the air conditioner didn't work, the shower water came out dirty for a minute and the room had a slight odor. Almost couldn't stay. Any chance you could be able to get another hotel. There is a comfort inn and a motel 6 only 20 minutes from Airy. I never had a problem with those brands. Don't want to come like a choosing beggar, I just need a clean room.

Beware No outside lights on when we arrived after dark. Two towels provided in a room for 4 people. No shampoo/conditioner provided but a hairdryer was. No clerk around when checking out. Needs updated, but met our needs. Probably will not stay here again.

Not recommended No-one on the desk to check us in, phoned the number advised but no answer then a young man appeared and was talked through the check in process by a manager who was working remotely. It looked like one of the pillows had already been used, and the towels had seen better times. The coffee maker had a used coffee bag in it, so I refused to use it and there was nothing out for breakfast when we went out at 8.45 despite being told it finished at 9.

Facilities Hanging by a Thread Check-in was a bit bumpy, not to the fault of the staff as they were just working with the systems they had in place (eg. Have to page front desk for service, credit card reader issues, key encoder not working properly) and all in all was fine. In my room though I noticed an odd odor. Not quite like someone smoked in the room but like someone smoked outside and it just came off their clothes. It was still strong though. The facilities were mostly clean. Although the sheets had been stained. Not like it had been anything recent, just that they were so old it had accumulated over time. However the worst was how the window was damaged. The window pane was bent open for easy access into my room and the glass appeared to have been taped with clear duct tape.

Sleep in your car if this is the only hotel with rooms available! This is quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in… I’ve visited over 30 countries around the world across all continents bar Antarctica… travelling for work and leisure. I’ve stayed in Super 8 motels before too, but this particular hotel is by far one of the worst! If it hadn’t been the only place available so close to where I needed to be I would’ve packed straight back out of the door!
