Paid Parking $5.15 daily in Troy,Al _ Room was average. Like most Hampton Inns, it is getting dated and needs minor updates. Bed was comfy, room was clean and breakfast had plenty choices to pick from. Staff was helpful when checking in. I would stay again. The funniest thing was having to pay for parking in Troy, Alabama. Trip Advisor has not been updated to state paid parking.

There IS a Daily Parking Charge!! It is NOT Free as advertised on the website. It was a decent hotel until I got the bill. No one told me that I'd be charged $3.87 + tax for parking. The hotel's website and even this Tripadvisor site advertises "Free Parking" at this hotel. I tried to speak to the manager to question the false advertising, but she just happened to "step out" and didn't return my call the rest of the day. I believe her name is Kim Waters. The woman I did talk to explained that the owner of the hotel instituted this parking charge "last November but the website has yet to be changed."

Awful!! If i could leave no stars, i would. I booked here 2 months in advance for my son's college graduation. It was over $300 per night so i assumed it would be clean and comfortable. The first room they gave us, when we walked in it was already occupied. Beds unmade, dirty towels everywhere. I went back to tell the man at the front desk and he seemed shocked. He said they were fully booked. He said he would have to call his manager. after waiting over 10 minutes for him to come back we had to leave for graduation. We called for the next hour trying to get in touch with the hampton. After finally getting in touch with someone they said they found us a room. This room was awful. It was under construction and there was sheet rock dust everywhere. Unbelievable!! Never again!

Don’t stay here. We have stayed at several Hampton Inn locations with no real problems. This one is a mess. They tried to charge for parking even after I showed the man at the desk my phone with their website saying they have FREE parking. The guy said I could talk to the manager sometime between 8 and 5 tomorrow, like I’m going to hang around to talk to her. I insisted he call her and she said corporate required they charge (not true) but allowed him to remove the charge. It wasn’t much money but they shouldn’t advertise it’s free and then charge. The bathroom floor is dirty, the refrigerator doesn’t cool, and the tv, sound and picture , are both distorted. This Hampton Inn is also more money than others we’ve stayed at. Crazy. Won’t be back to this one.

Could’ve been great, but it was just OK! My husband and I stayed here recently and yes, it is a typical Hampton Inn, however, with just a few correction/tweaks, it could be excellent. Pros: The bed was very comfortable, lobby was clean, and the employees were friendly. I love the zero products they use and the decor was very nice - not to mention our room was a very nice size (quite roomy)! I also loved the pull out shelves in both the main room and the bathroom. Cons: We were in room 303 and the toilet flushing sounded like a jet taking off. I’m not kidding. The door to the closet wouldn’t close and several of the outlets weren’t working. Lastly, to be indelicate, but our bed squeaked, and made horrible noises if you “moved on it”.
