Red Roof Inn St Louis - Troy, IL

Awesome and Clean! Definitely Recommend! Such a great place at a reasonable cost! I am a female and felt very safe outside walking my dog. It is a nice area. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was professional. A big plus is having my dog stay for free. We will definitely stop again when we are in the area as we were very happy with our stay. It is probably the nicest red roof inn I have ever stayed at!

Visiting family & layover Check in was easy & staff was courteous. If you want a cheap no frill place just to sleep, then this is the place. However, if you have to stay more than one day you might want to reconsider. The bed/pillow was ok, it was a king but only have 3 small pillows. Good thing my husband wasn't here, or I would have slept without a pillow. I did not feel any sticky stuff walking barefoot, and the towels were average hotel towels (white semi soft & small). I had 1 small bar or soap & 1 small bottle of shampoo. No conditioner, lotion or even Kleenexes'. The tv has plenty of channels EXCEPT LOCAL CHANNELS!!! The tv does not have ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX OR PBS and I went channel by channel all the way thru! When it comes to breakfast, I would not exactly call bagel/toast & cold cereal breakfast as that is all there is. They had some fruit in the lobby, but your choice was a tangerine or apple, and they honestly did not look fresh. So, if you want something for breakfast you have to walk across the street to cracker barrel or drive down the road to a fast food. Next time I am in town to see family I think I will pay a little more & stay across the street at HDI.

Hotel Review The service was nice but the floor is disgusting. Walking around on the floor made your feet and socks black. The floor skank isn’t visible but it’s there. Breakfast was also trash. Boiled egg and cereal is basically the only available food. Pool was extremely strong with chlorine and was unbreathable.

Vile and repulsive - pool chemicals extremely off balanced Blood on bed sheet Brown stains on bed sheets Pee on toilet seat Nail clippings next to the bed Food expired from 2 weeks prior to our stay still in the fridge Pacifier in the microwave Sticky floors Called front desk when we arrived and saw said issues (arrived at 9pm) at 11pm was offered a new room Should have been a pay by the hour hotel honestly

M Not a good experience, This is what we arrived to. I have informed the hotel that they need to follow up with house cleaning. I understand employees are hard to find, but if this is Red Roof standards, I'll pass.
