Centrally located location hotel in Vancouver, apartments are good for families We stayed in a two bedroom apartment at Le Grand Residence at Sutton Place, for two nights before a cruise. The apartment was suitable for a family of four. Great location, only 15 minutes walk downhill to Canada Place. The decor was a little dated but it was clean. Air conditioning was very noisy. The service from staff was good, they were always very busy at the front desk but always friendly and polite.

Great stay!! Great location and front reception staff Cesar was amazing in accommodating some issues in the Grand Residence that we had and making sure that we were happy. The renovated room on the hotel side was quiet and nicely appointed! Highly recommend their restaurant for great food and service!

Location, Location, Location Hotels are extremely expensive generally in Vancouver, so this one suited us as we were a family of 5 and could book two separate suites rather than 3 hotel rooms. The suites are a bit dated and the air conditioning is very noisy but ours were clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, very safe upmarket area in walking distance of Canada place and Robson street for shopping and restaurants. Nice to have the bonus of a pool.

Not value for money Check In Arrived at 10 NOT expecting to be given a room as we knew that the check in time was 4pm. The reception staff were very hopeful that the room would be ready quickly and we would be phoned when it was. They said our room had been prioritised. So we went off for a walk. 1230 pm- no phone, no room. Room finally given at 330. Bags of rubbish were sitting in front of the room in the corridor! Considering that checkout was 12 noon, it is taking the room service an incredibly long time to do up the room. Room Very spacious but very dated. Wall paper peeling off in some areas. Cleanliness was average. Beds comfortable. Location Absolutely fantastic. Heart of downtown- next to Robson street. Summary Great potential. Let down by the housekeeping and the dated decor. Not value for money (I paid nearly £450 per night)!

Great location and good hotel Great location, spacious suite (we got the 2 bedroom one for a family of 4, kids are 14 and 17) - expensive but worth it for our 4 nights in Vancouver. Gym and steam room very good. Comfortable beds, great bedding. Supermarket next door, 10% voucher from concierge, big fridge and cooking facilities if needed. Lots of restaurants, shops and sights in close proximity. Didn't eat at Boulevard, but had a nice drink there one evening. All staff were very helpful. Maid service only twice a week was a little odd, towels were refreshed daily - but Nespresso pods weren't! Also couldn't find remote control for the main bedroom, we did ask for it to be located on the second night but it was never found. Busy hotel, we had to wait for one of the 3 lifts occasionally - be prepared to wait!
