Great Hotel was newly remodled. Rooms were comfortable and staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. And the pool was nice. Only negatives was the seating for breakfast. The breakfast area was fitted out with one table for 6, one for 4, a bar type seating for 4, and 2 small tables for 2. Whenever we were down for breakfast there were people standing looking for a spot to eat. The room could definately handle more seating without the large chairs they had. It just needs to be reconfigured with different kinds of tables and chairs that it currently has. (Current set up is mroe for hanging out in a comfy living room style vs. for eating.)

Excellent Stay My father and I were in town to visit the sites of Vicksburg, and when we arrived at our designated hotel, it was obvious that we had made a mistake in our booking. The hotel had placed us on a second floor (no elevator ) and smoking room. This just would not work for an 86 year old. Canceled the reservation immediately . Headed to the Holiday Inn Express where a very nice young lady took care of our needs and even recommended a nice nearby restaurant. We had an excellent stay. The room was very clean, the beds slept great, and the shower was great. We were even treated to a wonderful breakfast that was included. The place is undergoing some renovation and the workers were working on some of the rooms but this should not stop anyone from staying there. I wish all of the places we will stay on this trip were like this Holiday Inn Express. Super friendly ladies also greeted us this morning and wished us well.

breakfast NOT included! the breakfast is NOT included. the website said it was but it’s not. the room was alright in general but i do NOT recommend this place, there is an inn down the road, i advice you try that place out. i will definitely not be back here again, so please just take this advice.

Wonderful stay in Vicksburg Great service and rooms were clean. Fantastic staff that really catered to the customer. There were special people who desired to be recognized. The staff that really helped us during our stay was first impression- Mrs Linda at front desk the night we arrived. The next morning was Ms Lashhonda and Mr Doonie. I had lost my baggage and they personally helped me to find it. Great staff!

Nice place to stay when visiting family. This location has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It has a great breakfast with plenty of items to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with very nice linens. This location is currently under renovation but the crew respected our sleep time and didn’t start too early.
