Wouldn't stay again. The room was clean, but had an athletic smell to it way over priced in my opinion. The beds and pillows were fine. The room was well stocked with towels, shampoos and soaps. The staff was neither rude nor overly polite. Just doing their job. Breakfast was very minimal. I'm sure I wouldn't stay here again.

Overpriced by far, dissatisfied. The first room we were assigned smelled like boys locker room. The attendant made it seem like a burden to try a different room. The booking website promised a hot tub which was replaced by a breakfast room. The breakfast was about the scarcest hotel breakfast I’ve seen. For $130 a night, I’d expect a lot more, even in a larger city. The same manager seems to run all the properties in town, which are all Wyndham branded. I’m honestly not sure what I’d suggest if you need to stay in Whapeton.

Old, run down, smelly place to lay your head Arrived to see three staff members outside smoking. The rooms stink, smell musty and old smoke must be imbedded in the walls and carpet. One can tell this place needs updating or even a good carpet cleaning and atomizer. Checked in and went to our room, returned back to the front desk and got moved. 2nd room smelled but not as bad as the first one. Luckily I carry a diffuser and purification essential oil. Tired from travel we attempted to leave to get some food but our door wouldn’t shut. After a few attempts of staff trying to pull the door shut, he(Staff) pulled out a 5” hunting/ combat knife out of his pocket and tightened the screws. Made us a little nervous why he felt he had to protect himself with a knife._‍♀️ we travel a lot and this is not a place I would recommend and know we will never be back.

Great hotel great staff I was in town visiting someone at a nursing home and just needed that clean quiet place to stay with a relatively friendly staff and that's what I got in fact it was a great staff. I suggest you try it.

Run down The pool turned my daughter and her friends’ hair green immediately. The whole place stunk and felt humid. No hot breakfast. They set out hard boiled eggs one day though. There weren’t many screens on the windows. Our friends’ room smelled like marijuana. The bathroom is so tiny, there’s no room to set anything down.
