Excellent accommodations near airport Having a 6 am flight the next morning, my daughter and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick hotel the night before. Before we even made it to the front desk to check in we were warmly greeted by John at the desk who informed us of the amenities available to us for our short stay. The room was large, clean, and well-appointed. My daughter had to was taking an online college class and the wifi met her needs. In the morning we were able to take advantage of the free shuttle to the airport and our driver couldn't have been nicer (at 5:30 AM!). Overall, great hotel, great service.

DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never experienced a more mismanaged hotel. Starting with the fact that the housekeeping seemed to hang out in front of the same room for the entire time (5 days) we were here. We added a day and Expedia told us just to make a new reservation for the new day - and for some reason- after 4 days of being there- the front desk decided they needed my id for anything my husband needed. He had to wake me up at 10 pm to go down and give them my id to get an extra room key. I told them this was ridiculous and I would like to speak to a manager. NO MANAGER was on site. 45 minutes later the front desk sent security up to have us leave . It was unbelievable. My husband explained the situation and the security guy was incredulous. Luckily we didn’t get thrown out because we were just asleep. I am a random normal 49 year old woman. The situation was unbelievable.

Nice Hotel/ Good Location We stayed at this hotel for a youth summer hockey tournament. Check in went well and we were required to sign waiver and read through rules which were strictly enforced. There were BIG signs with the rules by the elevators on each floor. Our room was very clean, not to mention spacious. We had mini fridge and coffee maker, but no microwave. Hallways were very quiet which made it easier to get a good nights sleep. However, we could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. Thank goodness our son was in a friends room so we wouldn't have to explain the "noises" coming from the other room. Yikes! We did visit the pool which was small for this hotel. Our eyes started burning and watering from the heat and heavy salt/chemical aroma. Thank goodness our son did not want to stay long. The restaurant on site was good and not overly priced. The food was average. This hotel was in a nice location and other restaurants and retail places were in close range. Every employee we encountered was friendly unlike some of the other Crowne Plaza hotels we have stayed in. The one downside was that we could not gather in the common areas to talk and hang out with other families in our group. Other hotels are more accommodating in this area. Overall, this was a nice stay and more pleasurable than some of the other Crowne Plaza's we have been to.

Yikes!!! Stayed here last week for 6 days. No housekeeping the entire stay, found two live roaches in the bathroom. Had to kill. Ironing board was broken and when I pulled it out it fell on my leg. Room shade would not go down all the way. Tv broke on day 2 I was encouraged to stream from my phone since it could not be fixed. My welcome screen had soneone else’s name on it, I wished he had paid my bill for this awful stay. One of the two elevators was broken Please see then lovely photo of the booth I sat in for breakfast one morning . With all of that said I blame this all on IHG and hotel management. The other employees were great. They brought towels help remove trash that I left outside my door and tried to fix things . They also changed my room after the roach incident . It’s just unacceptable to stay at a hotel for a week and not be able to get room cleaned. Don’t get fooled by the online photos. The rooms have no amenities three towels and old bedding .

Do not go Got to love getting yelled at for talking in the hall. Also the worker are very rude and unprofessional. Also they love to follow you around and question everything you do. I’m surprised this hotel is still running. If I could give a negative review I would tip don’t bring kids because they aren’t allowed to walk alone
