It was fine but nothing special. For the price, it was decent. The good: quiet, comfortable beds, clean. The bad: bathroom and shower, no free breakfast or coffee. The location wasn’t amazing but it was a nice neighborhood. The parking was expensive as well. For that price, you should include even a small breakfast. The air conditioning was amazing.

Great stay The moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warm friendly faces. The experience from beginning to end was great and very easy. The receptionist explain everything thoroughly. Elevators connect directly to the parking lot. The only thing I would say is, there was a red stain on one of the lounge chairs in the room but we were out the whole time when we were there that something so small didn’t mess up the experience. I would definitely come back!

Bed bugs As a professional, I'm a frequent traveler for business. And I often travel for leisure. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel with bed bugs. And my mother, in her 70s, was bitten more than five times. We shared a room, and she woke me up close to 3 a.m. to show me a bed bug on her pillow. Then we saw another one crawling on top of the comforter on her bed. I went to the front desk to report the incident. The team member at the desk was helpful. He said we could change rooms, and he had someone inspect the room before we entered. He also told me to email his manager and provided an email address. However, I emailed the manager, along with sharing photos, but NEVER received a response. It's now three days later. On the website, there is a cleanliness pledge. It's concerning that management doesn't respond. Is this how business leadership should ethically treat its customers?

Glover Park Hotel -- I'll definitely be back! Besides being situated on Wisconsin Avenue nestled between Georgetown and the Cathedral area in NW DC, the hotel and its staff have been nothing but the perfect choice (my 1st time staying at this hotel). I actually arrived earlier than expected and was warmly greeted by Blair at the front desk, who was extremely helpful in getting me checked into a room as soon as possible. After an all morning of air travel, this was greatly appreciated. The city view room offers exactly that, a spectacular view of this beautiful city, not to mention it is quiet, the bed is very comfortable, and everything is all around such that I will definitely return here when in DC again. Thanks very much to Blair and Glover Park Hotel for all the offerings needed for a wonderful stay!

A Three Star Hotel with DC’s prices It has a small fridge for your use which is nice. The lobby was nice with friendly people. It looks great on the website, but rooms on floors 1-6 are a bit worn. I think they have remodeled 7&8. They properly inform you cleaning is every other day. The chest on which the TV sits and the desk look 30 years old. The grout at the bathroom counter has some brown discoloration. The rooms are very spacious, maybe because it was built, I am guessing, in the 60”s. Someone wrote a complaint about worn hardwood in the lobby. It has been replaced and looks nice.
