Gigglin Marlin Divers and Swim School
As the indoor swimming arm of the Gigglin Marlin Divers and Swim School scuba-diving school—recently named Houston's best by the Houston Press—Gigglin Marlin Divers and Swim School entices water persons with a saltwater pool of titanic proportions. The facility's 75-foot long, up to 15-foot deep heated saltwater pool plays host to a crowded schedule of activities. The watery fun includes swim instruction for those less than 1 year old as well as adults. Regular times are also set aside for lap swimmers and indoor scuba sessions in which divers explore the saltwater pool's mysterious depths.

“I attended the Open Water Dive course beginning of January 2015, Ron and Tom were my PADI Master Instructors with the assistance of Keith and Dave. I greatly enjoyed the class with a total of 14 student divers. we went through the knowledge reviews and confined water dives during the 5 week days before practicing the open water dives in the week-end at Lake 288. The weather was cold and the water visibility was very poor but these environments could definitely help you on the next dives you will do on your own with your buddy(ies)... I would recommend that you enroll for the Dry Suit Dive as well in the winter time so you will have extra garments for weather protection, it will definitely help. All you need to purchase on your own prior to the 3rd day are: Snorkel/Scuba Mask & Tube, Scuba Fins (i.e: Zeagle), Scuba Boots, Weight Belt and Weights about 10% of your weights.”
